I think it's so addictive because you emass an army. It's like running a superpowered army of rooster fighting roosters only without all the muss of chicken blood

i have no idea but it really screws up my life. I just can't give it up and i'm a freaking teenager. If people really knew that i still played the games... wow even being on this website is really against my rep at school everyone! sorry for being a preppy jock y'all! but i plan on grabbing pokemon diamond when i have enough points.

I think its the anticipation of leveling upm having an ultimate goal to work to. I love that feeling, thats why games like rpg's are so addicting. Fighting games and sports games you can quit, because well, they're boring, but working on getting enough LP's to finally be able to use that Zodiac Spear is truly worth the fight, the many many agonizing fights.

I always thoguht the coolest thing was leveling them up and then beating up your friends pokemon. Seeing a teenager swear 'cause you just used destiny bond and letting him take out his best pokemon is fun.

i think it's addictive because it can and wants to be.it's addicitve because almost allvidoe games are addicitve....at least, to me. or maybe it's just the simplicity of it makes you want to keep doing it.

Because it was so trendy.People all saw it on tv and were like, 'ZOMGZ I WNT 2 B ASH KETCHUM! ZOMGZ ZOMGZ ZOMGZ!!'And then after a while they were all 'ZOMGZ I'M'A BEET U!'Yep.And some of us still want to see what's happening in the new ones, or play the old ones again. But as alot of people have probably said, it depends on what you like.Although, they are losing it a bit with the new pokemon and all. I went on the website today, since i'm so nerdy B) and yeah, They're all shiny and metal and stuff. It's just not the same as Pidgey or Pikachu or even Caterpie...So sad the way it died...END.

well pokemon has all of the elements of a good rpg, except that it alows you alot of variability because of the vast amouns of pokemon that you can catch. plus, having a tv show doesnt hurt.

pokemon is getting out of hand. I mean, 500 pokemon? how am i supposed to keep track of all those?Pokemon is a lot less exciting now. Probably because i'm older. I still play it though, it's quite addictive. Mabye its because you just wanna CATCH EM' ALL!

I think it is because you can get so many pokemons, and you can make them stronger and stronger, and all in all there is so much to do.
