Look the fact is that most of us are from the mario generation which means that most of us were playing video games ever scince the nes was released. And as a member of that generation io'm going to keep playing the video games until i can't understand how the game system works.

i dont think there is ever a specific age that a person needs to stop playingeveryone is entitled to a good game, thats y the games r rated differently like E, T, M, etcafter a day of work, its the thing people use to relax and release their inner childishness

I think people should stop playing video games when it becomes a chore to them, and no longer being fun. After all, that's what video games are for: To have fun. If you're not having fun, then you really need to ask yourself why you're still playing them...That said, there is no age group to class this in. It's purely up to the player's decision when to stop or not. That's what I think anyway.

Games are like any other hobby. There is no age limit for hobies therefore there should be no limit for games.

I don't think playing video games should have a limit, since it is like another way to forget problems and stress. And also, somewhere within you, no matter how old you are, theres a part of yourself that is childish.

it depends if you can get serious enough to want to stop playing. one of my friends will probably stop soon, another has probably already stopped, another has probably never played, an i will never stop.

the only time you should stop playing games is when you don't have any limbs to play with.and in that case, learn to play with your tongue

No lie here, one of my neighbors is 65, and he still kicks on his system from time to time, to play war games. Age shouldn't matter when it comes to gaming, as long as you don't let it rule your life, am I right?

Never, It's the same for watching cartoons. And look how there are 18+ and Adult Ratings in games; it's good for everyone unless they play "too much" and don't pay attention to other important parts of their life like getting a job.

I'm going to be on my death bed with a controller in my hands when i give up games, and even then after i'm gone they're going to have to find some scissors to cut the tape that is holding the controller in my hands.

You should stop playing video games when you enter the real world, i.e. out of college. Once you get a full-time job and a family, that seems to be a good time to stop and to use that extra time to not screwing all that up.But... in reality, that's not true; I sure as hell know it's not going to be for me or most of the dedicated people in this forum. I'll probably cut back, but never will I completely stop playing video games.
