started watching the yugioh anime without the card version. was nice, and then the card game came out. havent touched my deck for 2 years, i feel that the game is losing its popularity, a pity though, the game was quite nice (compared to pokemon and harry potter..?)

oh i was addicted to yu-gi-oh once but now i think i lost my deck its about... 3 years now.... and i didn't see the anime myabe im not that addicted anyway i loved the card game especially when i win hehehhe ^^

i also played until the previous year. It depends on your age and whether or not you have enough friends to play for example in a tournament (between you and your friends).

For me Yu-Gi-Oh is like something you play for about a year then you take a break off of it then you go to another thingthen some years later you get back to Yu-Gi-Oh

I must have made a fortune selling my cards! The game is dead as far as I can see. It was really just a fad IMO.

Ah! I still think that Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of the best shows around. I think that the card game is getting boring because I rarely find players to play against. I still think that its completely awesome, no matter what.

i liked it whenit was the duelest kingdom arc and after wards and even up till the start of gx i thought it would be good.....it wasent in my opnion so ive stoped watching the show...i still like the games and go around looking for new cards tho even if just to have a set..speaking of which ima log off now i think ive posted enoguh today and i needa find another site to download Yu-Gi-Oh Reshef of Destruction from since i got only half the points i need for it lol

I never understood what the kids saw in this game. My little cousin was into it and I went and bought a starter deck just to see him happy about it but to be honest I was a Magic the Gathering player and if you ask me Yugioh is quite a weak game compared to its ancestors. Its just too darn basic ... there isn't much to it when you compare it to most other games in the genre.Edit: The very best yugioh tournament champions would get their rear-ends handed to them in a magic: the gathering tournament. Wouldn't last 10 seconds at best.

In terms of games, maybe. But in reality (like any card game) there is a lot of inequality in skill and money to call it "hot" and monsters/spells seemed cartoonish/childish/very ridiculous. This is also from a magic the gathering player.

Yu-Gi-Oh used to be a really popular game... I watched the anime on tv and I even bought some cards to play with my friends... But now, almost no one plays it with real cards, and the anime isn't that great either... I still like to play the games in the consoles of course...

i would still be playing if my best cards that i had been collecting for 2 years hadnt got nicked but the cards are a little old now. but the games are still good.this is just my opinion.
