I use my fingers for games like New Super Mario Bros. or Custom Robo Arena where I only have to touch the screen once in a while and I don't have to be really accurate. Otherwise I use the stylus.

I use the stylus because I don't want fingerprints on my screen.

Every now and then I'll use my finger to select an attack in Pokemon Diamond, but aside from that, I try to avoid it. (But thats obvious; I mean, those buttons basically CRY out to your thumbs, saying, "Press me, PRESS ME PLEASE!!!")

For me it depends on the function, and how much the stylus is used in the game. For Portrait of Ruin, which doesn't need the touch screen, I use my fingers if I want to do the double jump glitch. For games like Wario Master of Disguise, and the like, I use the stylus. To be honest I don't like using the stylus. I find it quite fatiguing to hold it in my hand and tap with it, than pressing buttons. Perhaps it's related to the reason why my hand writing and printing is far below average, almost reminicient of the printing skill of somebody who's mentally challenged or retarded. Oh well, thank God for computers.

I use my fingers mostly, but I have a screen protector. I am also a musician and a mechanic, so I have a very sensitive touch and apply only the minimum amount of pressure needed. I have yet to leave a fingerprint on my screen protector. I have also been using touch-screen computers and pda's for about ten years, so I have learned what is safe and what isn't. I have broken more than one touch-screen, but not in a LONG time.

Well, most games I would use the stylus or the thumb stylus. BUT for the new Pokemon Pearl and Diamond, it's so much easier to use your fingers.

I've lost all my stylus' so I either use my fingers or pen that doesn't work. I'm not sure you're supposed to do that though... :D

I use the stylus, but for games that don't really require the stylus except for a tiny part of the game I'd use my finger.

Depends on the game. Games that don't generally use it like Nanostray and games that make the touchscreen happen when you least suspect it, Resident Evil, I'll use fingers sometimes.
