I use my fingers, but only because I typically play turn-based rpg's. It got annoying holding the stylus only to tap the screen every few seconds. anytime I need to move something across the screen, I use the stylus

I have always tried to keep my fingers off the screens I don't like the smudges that it leaves. However I have found that now that I have a DSiXL the whole outside is smudged all the time. Seeing how the outside will be smudged I might as well use my fingers on the screen.

i don't use my fingers at all because it might make the screen dirty and also if you use your finger, its not as precise as the stylus

I sometimes use my fingers on the touch screen if I'm too lazy to take out a stylus. But for games like Elite Beat Agent (and its japanese counterparts), I need to use the stylus. Only use your fingers on games that don't require you to be quick or precise.

Most of the time I have the stylus and only use fingers when I'm in an inconvenient position whilst playing the ds (i.e. lying on my side).

I prefer to use a stylus especially with my bakugan games but for quick taps I will use my finger if needed

I only use the stylus, i find my fingers dont work so i have to use my nails, and i wouldnt want to scratch the screen

I tried using my finger when playing Elite Beat Agents during the sequence where you have to trace circles as fast as you can within a few seconds. Even though I drew circles faster, I found the system wasn't following my finger nearly as well as the stylus, so my overall performance was weaker.

When I was really into a game and couldn't find the stylus, I used a pen and that ended up messing my screen up pretty badly..... I have tried to use my finger but I find that it is too inaccurate...

It depends on what game. For games like Pokemon, where I don't need to use the Stylus as much I may use my finger. But others like Cooking Mama or whatever I will use the stylus. I have a screen protector on the touch screen so I am not as worried.

I only use my fingers when it is to remove a few pieces of dirt that the stylus can't remove.
