my nails work perfectly if i only need to do fast things and don't want to grab the styles. fast tapping. otherwise if i will be holding it awhile, then the stylus makes sense. the thumb thing on my strap makes me giggle as i've never used it seriously. heh

It depends what i play, really. If the game doesnt need the stylus much i just use my finger, i cbb to keep getting the stylus out every 5 mins! If the game needs lots of touching then i keep the stlus out and use that!

My fingers never touch the touch screen unless I have to wipe off an annoying piece of dust or lint.I was horrified when I saw my 6 year old cousin play with a DS she borrowed (thankfully not mine) with her fingernail.Fingernails should never touch that screen. It scratches easily. I don't like damage on my DS, especially since I paid so much for it (including the games).

Though I make a point of immediately putting a new screen protector on my DS when the old one gets too scuffed up, I still don't like fingers on my screen and the greasy marks they leave behind. I'm forever giving the screens a wipe with the edge of my t-shirt to keep them looking nice, and sadly I can't blame someone else for the marks as I don't lend out my DS.

I usually use my finger when a game uses the touch screen but doesn't require a high level of precision, for example, any DS Pokemon game. The touch screen is only used for menu choices and I think it's actually a hassle to navigate them w/ the d-pad. But if there's a game that requires you to be precise with your taps (Picross, for example), I will use the stylus.

I don't usually use my fingers because they leave greasy prints on the screen but on ocassion I use my fingernails. Most of the time, it's usually the stylus

i use the stylusit is better to use the stylus as if u use your finger, the chances of scratching the screen is fairly high.

I'll use them if I don't have a stylus on me, which is a little often since it's so easy to lose the things.

I'll use the occasional fingernail, but not often because I don't like messing up my system. I can see scratches on things and that drives me nuts.Like seeing someone with a cracked screen on an Ipod. Can't understand it.

I try to avoid using my fingers as I dont want my screen to get all muked up. But keeping track of a stylus is a little tedious. So yeah I'd say I use my finger most often on the touch screen.

Stylus; 2, if I'm playing Trauma Centre or the likes. I just keep my stylus back in the slot on the DSlite. I mostly only use my fingers when there's furious tapping to do.

It is like against my religion to use my fingers on the touch screen (Not Really). Never done it once with my current ds and have given some kids some nice bruises for touching my screen as well.

when i'm too lazy to pull out my stylus and when it's just like 1 press i use my fingers, otherwise it's always the stylus as it has much more precision
