when i don't think i'm going to be using the touch screen much, i just use my fingers, but i hate seeing finger prints on my screen so i'll be wiping it off every couple of seconds haha

yes, i try not to play non detailed touch games where i don't need to use the stylus, i like the big buttons of pokemon and thumb controls on action/firstpersonshooters. for that i don't have a screen protector on yet.

Not often really because i get sweaty hands fast and then my screen will get dirtyBut when i look at other ds's most of their touch screen are all abused by hard stylus tapping, stroking etcso mostly when i need the touch screen i'm gentle with the stylus.

I usually just use the Stylus...I don't want to ruin the touch screen with finger oil/fingerprints and whatnot.

I didn't when I first got the NDS. Now, I can't really be bothered taking it out and putting it back, and I do it all the time.

Never! Never never never never never. The stylus is there for precision. If I didn't really care and it's not necessary, I stick to the D-pad. You can play all of Phoenix Wright and Pokemon on D-pad if it's that difficult to take out a stylus.

If i'm lazy. Normally just to press "next", not to do fancy stylus kung-fu in Zelda

Sometimes I do, if I fear I have to smack the stylus on it so hard the screen might break. There were a few instances in Mario and Luigi 3: and Bowser where I used my finger instead because the rapid jabbing of the stylus I found too destructive for a pricey piece of equipment :Chill:

i mostly use the stylus unless I'm going through dialog, then it's easier to use my fingers :haha:. But i couldn't imagine using your fingers for a game like Rune Factory, that would be very hard. :(

Nope. I don't want fingerprints on my touch-screen. Also, the stylus is far more accurate when playing games like LoZ: Phantom Hourglass.

Only if I'm playing a game, not using the stylus normally and want to touch something to select it faster(e.g., Pokemon battles). And, for the dirty finger problems... that's why I use protective screens since I got my first scratch with Animal Crossing. :haha:

i can't stand using my fingers on the touch screen. i kinda got OCD and it really really bothers me to see finger smudges all over my screen. plus, i don't like how it feels when i use my fingers to tap. jus not too satisfying. always use the stylus. jus feels right that way

I think that's a bad idea to use fingers because I used to do that until my bottom screen started showing shades of green. The color started going crazy until the ds broke.

Occasionally when I just need to tap something. But I have beefy fingers so it's easier for me to just use a stylus. Plus I always leave fingerprints which are hard to get off the screen.
