i use the stylus. when i use my fingers. it leaves fingerprints on the touch screen X_X

I only use my finger when it's for a game where you don't care about the precision of said tap. For example, using a stylus in Lostmagic because it's actually requires a decent amount of screen touching as opposed to finger-usage in the Phoenix Wright series.

no if your fingers are dirty then you can have a clean screen and the stylus keeps the screen clean:)

dude using your fingers will just make the screen mucky and i have about 10 spare styluses incase i lose one because i like having a clean screen

On rare occasions, yeah -- when the game uses both the touch screen and the arrow keys, mostly. Like Bleach DS and Pokemon.

I will use either the stylis or my fingers. What ever is available.

I used to, until someone told me that the oil on your fingers damages the screen...not sure if it's true, but then there's always a reason for the stylus.

Sometimes I use my fingers when being too lazy to get out the stylus for one singe click or when games force you to do so (like "Last window the secret of Cape West" I am a little wary using my fingers though, I am always scared I will damage the screen 
I always wanted to slip on a banana peel and fall on my face ....

indeed…some game I use my finger…for example the monopoly games…but I often use stylus…since I buy scratch resistant for my DS

I use my stylus when the game calls for it just certain games like pokemon only ask you to use it every so often so i cheat a bit and use my fingers

I'm a little OCD about fingerprints, so that would be a "no". As it is, I constantly have a cleaning cloth tucked in with it and am cleaning it all the time.

Agreed, I tend to not play too many touch games as well. Even if I do I try to use the stylus gently because I have already wrecked 2 screens from getting a little carried away. And to answer the initial post question, I never use my fingers on the screen.I usually don't play touch games, but if I do, its always the stylus or the little thumb thing on the hand loop.

I sometimes use my fingers cause it saves more time for doing certain things and more convenient than stylus . For example while im playing megaman starforce 2 i use my fingers for some wave command codes that i remember.
