I use a pen. I never use a finger. The reason is because a screen is stained.

Only when I can't find my stylus. Fingers are too big for precise touching.

yeh me to,i got a screen protector and i find it more convenient to use my thumb.i'd use my fingers if i had a screen gaurd.

I did after my stylus broke... but my family friend bought their son a DS lite, and gave me his old DS stylus, so I'm back to using that 
But I'd use the back of my finger (with the nail) since I always have my nails reeally short Still no scratches on screen

Only when I need to use the touch screen for a few seconds and I'm too lazy to use my stylus. But don't exactly use my hands, I use the tip of my nails heh

i use both depending on the gameif its touch screen intensive then stylus but if its just the occasional touch screen commands then usually my fingers or i keep my stylus in my mouth while i play (i have a habit of chewing my stylus while im bored)

i used to use the stylus, till i lost it 
i used a pencil for a while, my fingers are too stubby, but now i grew my nail and sharpened it to a point with a file and i use that now

I almost never use my fingers, but most of the time I just use the buttons. My kids use their fingers though

When I still owned a DS, I never used my fingers because they ruined the touch screen.

Am I the only person who's used their fingernail? I often just tap the screen with a "backhand" motion to avoid smudging.

I use my fingers ocasionally on games that don't require much touch screen use. I don't really like to use the fingers (I use them because I'm a little lazy).

It depends on what kind of game it is I think. I won't use my fingers to play a game where I need to constantly be moving small things around like selling items in Animal Crossing or moving villagers around in Civilizations Rev. But games like Pokemon and Mega Man Star Force I'll use my fingers all the time.

I usually use the stylus but when i need to use the touch screen really fast, i just use my fingers.
