it was a classic. i hope that eventually they make a collections game for it. maybe a remake adding better graphics and stuff to it. but for its time it was a unique and intrestingly fun fighting game.

I still play it now and then.Sadly, the cardridge is broken and unable to store data.. I have to unlock everything all over again every time

I still own the game, however I no longer play it, because i have the one for the Wii. But my best character was Link, I actually retired him in this game, because no one could beat me if I played him.

Link, Starfox, and Pikachu were my favorite. I still play it with friends on the Xbox and on the PC. I hated Donky Kong though.

its fun to play on an emulator cuz you can use polygons and metal mario and master hand (with cheats) also theres a cheat that lets 2p control a com in 1p mode

I never really cared for it. Not when it was new, and not now. I haven't cared for the sequels either. It just seems like pointless violence to me. If there were a plot behind it, it'd make it worth it, but when you're just mindlessly beating the s*** out of each other, what's the point? I fail to see the appeal.

I played this one at my friends house, it was so funny! I was Jiggly Puff and my friend was Kirby, and I was such a noob at this game so I had NO idea who I actuallly was!! 
Gosh I stressed so much with this game, but it's hilarious! Only if you aren't serious thou. I wanna play again D;

I still have it, used to play it, but I don't really see the point anymore...melee has everything it has and more, brawl, while being a game of chance, *though that can be turned off*, is essentially the same story.Although, my fav. chars to use in the original were Link, Samus, Cpt. Falcon, and Fox.

I still pull my 64 out from time to time just for this game. I loved this game, even though I had played Melee first. I had first been introduced to the series at a friends house, but I didn't have a GC, so I went with the next best thing.

ahhh.. Super Smash Bros (=What a classic!! (= loved playing that gamee and still do...I not like one of those rich people who would buy game consoles very often so im still stuck with a Nintendo 64Favourite character of all time will have to be Pikachu!!Hmmm... but would've been so much better if you could play as Metal mario or master hand

I played Nintendo 64 once and I don't like the bigger controllers over the smaller wii or game cube controllers.

I play almost every day at college 
I brought my 64 from home. The main challenge is not each other, but trying to play with controllers who's joy sticks are all jacked up

One thing I do like about the old smash bros is how the arenas were longer, and the sound effects just made things funner as well. I enjoy using Luigi by the way...

I was luigi today for the first time in such a long time, and I was surprised. His tornado actually packs a bit of a punch and its sooooo easy to get off his super upper cut it was really fun using him
