N64 is the best because it went from the retro SNES to the current non-retro N64

The SNES is the one I think has the best games. But maybe the GBA I've played the most, trying to catch every pokemon in Ruby & Sapphire.

Its so goddamn NES cause it saved the gaming industry cause the original atari was dying and when it did so did console gaming but however before it did a small gruop of japanese people came together and created the NES (Nintendo Entertainment System) and those people become the executives of the Nintendo gaming industry. The NES's extreme success brought console gaming back to life and eventually inspired more companies to make consoles once again XD .Hope you enjoyed your history lesson so without the NES the gaming industry would never have existed... or maybe we would only be advancing to 3d graphics right now if the gaming industry di revive somehow XD

The NES saved the gaming industry, but the SNES blew the doors off the gaming industry and really pushed things to the limit. It brought a lot of series to the mainstream market that were previously cult or underground. Final Fantasy 6 (3 on SNES) is a great example as it is arguably the best SNES rpg and best Final Fantasy to date. Prior to that we had FF1 on NES and FF2 (Never heard anyone talk about this game, ever) on SNES. FF6's graphics, music, gameplay and depth of storyline and characters were unrivaled at the time. To this day, that game seems to be the standard of measurement for a lot of console RPGs. Zelda, a Link to the Past is also another great example. Prior to that we had The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link which were both fantastic games themselves, but a Link to the Past raised the bar and you can see the influence it had on it's successors on other consoles. Mario Kart was one of the coolest racing games ever, especially if you got four people playing it. Street Fighter II was a good look into where the fighting game world was going. Secret of Mana, Ogre Battle, Illusion of Gaia, the list goes on.

You know, I love the SNES a lot, but I have to say the NES had the best software. Hard games, but great memories nevertheless.

I think Snes, just cause when it first came out it was awsome, a hit, and just blew away the Nes in sales. But nowadays i play them both equally as much. i like the classics. (its an aquirred taste, yummy)
