In terms of the best for it's time, it's got to be the original NES. People had written off the VG industry, and the NES brought it back. So many great games. And since it was the only real system during that time, so many people have memories of the same great games.

It's hard to see past the success of the Wii, but SNES is probably my second favorite. I never had one when I was a kid, but I got my SNES at 14 or so, and it still delivered an awesome experience.

i would vote for 64 but since it had not that many RPG's i vote for SNES which did!

Have to go with Wii for console and DS for handheld. I've owned every nintendo system....Wii offering all of the consoles playability and the DS in its revolutionary way to play games....Have to respect that.

I'd say I like almost all of their systems. I'm satified with all of them except Virtual Boy.

That's a very hard question. I'm stuck between the original NES, for the amazing ideas that skyrocketed into popularity and exist still to this day, and Wii, for its innovative style.

Of course, we can't forget about all the great games on N64 and Gamecube. Nintendo has done a great job overall, that's what I'm going with.

I believe it was the DreamcastIt had a lot of features that other systems didnt have at the time and some very good games

the wii is ok but i perfer the n64 ocarinia of time and majoras mask were great games
