gba most definitely. it helped nintendo pull through when they were suffering with their problem child the gamecube. not to mention it opened up the door to the awesomness of the ds.

It has to be the arcade systems. it had the best games and it was the first system I ever knew to have mario on it (correct me if I am wrong there) Which preety much got nentendo on the American Map Back in 1981.

I think the Wii is Nintendo's Greatest System ever because the Wii has a new experience of gameplay to all it's games like Wii Sports and Wario Ware Smoth Moves.

Hmmm, the best Nintendo console? Easy one: The SNES. It had the absolute best games. A close second is the NES, only because of SMB and SMB 3. :)

Okayokay, I'm going to actually post a serious comment in this one. There should be a few different categories here when you talk about 'greatest system', and depending on the category, that'll really change my answer.Greatest games? Probably the SNES. There are way too many absolutely legendary titles for that system.Greatest bang for the buck? Either the GC or the Wii. The Wii busted the 'less than $200' limit that Nintendo placed for itself, but it's still drastically cheaper than the other current-gen consoles, and the GC was just wonderfully inexpensive (and very nearly as powerful as the other two contenders to boot). The GC still has some of the best graphics, when a company actually makes use of all the glorious effects it can display.Greatest fun/party console? Wii, hands down. Four players, no cables, motion sensing so your parents can get into it (my parents love tennis). Add the fact that it comes with one of the best party games to come out yet (Wii Sports) and the low price, and you have a winner.Greatest impact on the gaming industry? The original NES. Saved the entire gaming industry, and that's all I have to say about that. Didn't hurt that it had some really great games going for it too - but seriously, every console has a killer app. Except the Game Taco, a.k.a. N-Gage. But we don't talk about that.
