Not necessarily, as my pal's dad is still playing the PS2. It all depends on your taste. I admit, married couples would have less time to play PS2, but it doesn't matter if you really like it.

I kind of think so. For one they're nerdy, two don't venture out much, three they're possibly fat, so that's a negative, four antisocial behavior, five perhaps intimidated by the opposite sex. I seen guys like that before, believe me.

I play games almost religiously but I have a girlfriend, son and definitely ain't no virgin. If I'm not playing games then I'm usually watching movies, tv, or writing my book

Bahahahaha! If you're the type of person who prefers the company of video games to humans, then there's probably a good chance that you will be a virgin. However anyone, bot necessarily a gamer can do the same.

It all depends on what kind of gamer they are. If you're the type that sits in their parents basement in the dark, playing video games ALL DAY LONG, and nothing else. Then, yes, you're kind of (not) screwed. But, it IS possible to be an avid/hardcore gamer and still not have to suffer the repercussions of stereotypical gaming nerds. Take me for example. I've been playing video games since I was two. That was in 1990. Here I am, 19 years later. I have many friends I couldn't live without, a girlfriend who loves me, and a daughter that makes my life come full circle. So, take that for what you will.

Although I voted no, I don't think there is a straight forward yes or no answer. I know tons of people who aren't virgins and play video games. I think if there is a connection it is the other way around, that is virginity has a connection with videogame playing, not that playing videogames has a connection to virginity, if anyone can see the difference. If it is true that virgins are more inclined to play video games, then I suppose it would mean gamers are more likely to be virgins, although the term gamer is up to interpretation.

I think that while gaming doesn't always hurt someone's chances of getting laid, I can't think of any example where it helped.

No more likely than anyone else, it's just a stereotype that the media has portrayed us as. I'm sure there's a good number out there, but there's also a good number of non-gamer virgins too.

There are a few gamers I've met that secretly game. They are so afraid of what their friends will thing of them if they told them that they play games for hours and hours. It's society that has created this mindset of gamers being anti-social and introverted, but to the contrary the gamer community is highly sociable. Where else could you find a community filled with a wide range of ages and backgrounds to all in one place?
