FF X was a great game, and one of the few of the series I have played. It made for a great storyline.

I enjoy FFX more for one major reason over the FFXII, and that's the battle style. I don't like having to wait seconds before I have to swing a dang sword.

I like Final Fantasy XII because it pushes PS2 to da limit with its beautiful graphics and the innovative gameplay style is phenomenal

final fantasy ten and eight were the best ever made

Results didn't really surprise me, though I thought FF12 would have a little more votes. And I'm saddened to say that I haven't had the pleasure of playing what is considered the all-time best FF game... FF7.But my sister is in the process of acquiring it, so hopefully soon. *fingers crossed*

I have played some of them, but I like X the best, and then XII. X for its story line and then XII for the graphics and gameplay.

I like X, it was my first JRPG and my first from the series. I remember looking at the case at blockbuster (yes I did judge this one by the cover) and it just showed a guy standing in the water in front of a beautiful island background. I feel the colors just called me. I finally rented it one day and fell in love with FF. X had a great story line and filled me with the "magic" of spira. I had a wonderful imagination back then, so it was all the better. If anything comes next it's either XII for graphics and battle system or tactics for it's battle system as well.

Final Fantasy IX was awesome! I loved the characters and the storyline..... and for a PSX game it had amazing graphics on the movie scenes.

Although I first picked up the franchise with VIII, I really truly prefer some of the older versions, or the new adaptations. Not to mention Tactics. Oh man, Tactics was great, but I digress.Ever since the merge with Enix, I've been thoroughly disappointed with the Final Fantasy games. They just feel too linear for my taste. I /loved/ exploring the open world and fighting for hours on end. :0

Eight because i grew up with it. I mean, sure Squall seems no different than Cloud in terms of personality and they both lighten up throughout the story, but theres one thing that squall has and cloud doesn't and people should know what i mean. He has a weapon than is a sword AND a gun. Sure i can get a butter knife and duct tape it to a shotgun (which i did for fun, and it was fun.) and call is a gunblade but you have to love that design. As well as gameplay and yadda yadda, that makes final fantasy... final fantasy. With changes here and there and with characters with different wigs and/or sex changes and personality switches.

I gotta go with X...It get's sometimes hard, but the only thing I hate is the NO-Freestyle battle.Free-style is a lot better than turnbased battles.

10 and 12. Hated X-2. Would like it if they made an X-3. But I doubt it. Also would like it if they re-made the classics with better graphics or atleast re-released them on a newer system. Kinda like they did for Zelda on Gamecube.

I can't really decide between VII and XII because they were both the awesomest of the series but I had to go to XII because of the graphics, but VII had the best story and characters!

I'd go for FFVII. Best story and characters, liked the battle system and the materia system was awesome, no need to think about any grid to set up your char in a special way. Just set the materia as you liked ^^

ff VII is my favorite ff game. great storyline gameplay, and a very long list of combinations with materia. not to mention it led to one of the best anime movies i've ever seen :waaa:. however XII, VIII, and III follow closely after.

I really liked FFVI. I've always been partial to Yo****aka Amano's art. Plus, Kefka was pretty cool.I enjoyed all the others though, FFXII is probably my favorite after FFVI.

FF-X. I still remember the story clearly after 2 years I played it :D. FF 12 was nice but... i didn't really like the battle system... especially the part where the team members went suicidal and attacked a monster.... for it to slaughter the team :D. But the graphics for FF12 was the best so far. Too bad 13 is on PS3 :milo:

Any Final Fantasy is a good Final Fantasy. however, we all know that VII is in an entierly different league than the others. I mean, come on. Sephiroth, Cloud, the death of Aerith. That game had everything! I don't care if the graphics were lackluster at best, this game revolutionized the genre and the series when it was released.
