Wii: The most overrated piece of crap I've ever seen, may be the cheapest but the most dumbest idea to a shooting and rpg fan. [Yes, its probably fun to play for shooting games, but there are no good shooting games for the Wii,WiiTards.]

thats an amazing opinion. why dont you explain more?

-Made for kids-Has many uninteresting games.-Breakable controllers-You need batteries for controllers [Well, the rechargeable batteries can cancel this out]-Kids + Wii Controller = Dead Controller. So yeah, Nintendo has a brilliant idea for using breakable objects while marketing for kids to want the system. Kids break them, parents lose, parents buy, Nintendo wins, They throw in a strap for good measure, but too big to accommodate a child's wrist.

so its made for kids. my parents play it all the time. my dad likes godfather, and my mom likes wii sports. and they have an adjustble wristband, so any kid can play it. weve had it for a few months, and nuthins happened at all. even when our family comes over. as long as you watch what your doin and what the smaller kids are doin, all will be well.

I don't like any of the new consoles. 8) 8-bit graphics are good enough, haha.

- It's actually being marketed for everyone they could possibly get. Hence Wii Fit.- The biggest problem with Nintendo is that their consoles run mostly off of first party games. Third party developers seem to have an especially difficult time making a creative use for the Wiimote.- The controllers are quite sturdy actually. Back when people would throwing around the Wiimotes due to the weak straps, many Wiimotes weren't broken at all. For most of them, the battery case popped off and the batteries flew out but the controller was fine.- Yeah, rechargeable batteries.- Perhaps, though I'd see the kids getting hurt more than the controller.Wii is great fun IMO. Game selection just kinda sucks right now.I never really liked the Xbox being as Microsoft is currently trying to milk Halo and Gears of War for as much money as possible. Plus the RRoD is a huge turn off. I mean, I don't want to get a system that has a fairly good chance of just dying on me for no reason.PS3 would be a great system if not for the cost. Like the Wii, game selection is quite weak right now, but it looks more promising than any of the other systems.

Hmm. I can't recommend the Xbox 360 to anyone. If you've already waited this long, wait longer. Do not buy a Xbox 360 until it's been confirmed that they all have 65 nanometer chips in them, and make sure you get one of them, not some left over 90 nanometer. I bought a Xbox 360 last Christmas, since then it's been out for repair 3 times. I'm currently waiting on my fourth repair box, after the last refurbished console they sent me, lasted 6 days. So, after this repair, which btw, takes up to 4-6 weeks, I will be on my fifth Xbox 360 in 9 months. I take insanely good care of it, don't play it very much, and don't watch DVDs on it. I haven't had 1 360 last me more than 1 1/2 months.

The red ring isnt always equal to a dead unit, sometimes its as simple as not having A/V or power cables plugged all the way in. But in these situations... Its better off to go to an actual website rather than believe people who dont know what they are talking about...

In terms of power, the 360 is the best. The Wii has weak graphics, and the PS3 only has good ones because they use Blu-Ray, which is like HD pumped with steroids. They think that they can simulate good graphics with Blu-Ray while not pumping up the graphics engine. Microsoft has better graphics. And in terms of games, and the apparent thought of "no good RPG's", well just remember: the 360 is still a young machine. So is the PS3, which has like seven games. The Wii probably has the most games, but their all gimmick games to show off the motion sensing technology, which is not new, by the way. The 360 has a wealth of great games, and from what I've seen, the PS3 and the Wii cannot compare. Look at statistics, people.

You don't see Xbox fanboys usually, I think I should bust out my camera, this is golden. As for your comment, Would you rather have a flashlight that illuminates the whole room and explodes the bulb after 5 minutes, or would you rather have a slightly dimmer flashlight that lasts you forever? Apply these terms to 360 and Wii. 360 May look fancy, but I would say that about 90% of the population owning one would say they have had technically difficulties, where as Wii, not so much. On the situation of "red ring of death" I fail to see what relevance your Wii/PS3 bashing comment has to do with it. Thanks for your information ^_^

Power isnt always determined in graphics. Right now the GPU(graphics chip) and CPU(thinking chip enables how many explosions and people are on screen at the same time and how big the game worlds can be.) are seperate in the 360 and PS3. The 360 has a better/newer GPU and it also has more RAM(bassically holds the memory that doesnt have to be stored on a harddrive. Like cutting down a tree leaving the town then go back to it and still see the cut down tree) than the PS3 making it very flexible to develop for. The PS3 however doesnt get its good graphics because of the Blu-Ray, (though it does help cause the disc can hold a massive amount of info) but from the GPU which is also pretty good though not as good as the 360. It also has the cell proccessor(thinking chip) which Im pretty sure is a 9 "core"(kinda like dual-core for PC but way more powerful) chip but regardless its freakin powerful though it is very difficult and complex to develop for. This is why your seeing games looking on par or worse than the 360 versions because the PS3 is harder for the developers to make games for. Though If you go watch the Killzone 2 trailer it looks better than the 360 has to offer. Including Gears, COD4, Fable2, and Halo3 or any other game you can think of. The only thing that may be comparable to it is Alan Wake.Once developers get used to the PS3 and start making the Cell proccessor make the graphics instead of its GPU(proccessors can be "told" to make graphics also) then we will start to see the PS3 making games that look better than the 360's. Well maybe through code tricks and the like its possible to make the machines do stuff there not supposed to do like churn out better graphics then the 360 will prolly be able to make PS3 quality graphics. But yea graphics dont determine power. I would reply to the rest of your comments on the Wii but I think I have written too much stuff that no one will read or understand. And its off topic =( I fail.

From what I heard, the Ring of Death is an error. Well, there's three different ones you can get, the difference is how many lights will appear. I don't remember what they all mean, though. But, don't worry about it. I have a 360 and I'm very happy with it.Also, in reponse to the other posters, I think you can't compare the Wii with the 360 or PS3. This is because of the way you play the games. If you take a mutisystem game, it'll be a different game for the Wii kind of, because of the controls. I think the Wii is an okay system, but I don't see any appealling games for it right now (besides Super Smash Bros.). Also, while I think Nintendo probably updates the VC (I wouldn't know, I don't have a Wii) more than the Xbox Live Arcade, the VC's lack of internet gaming support really hurts it. =/And while the 360 is more of a shooter system, it's great because some of the shooters are really good. As for the PS3... I really don't have a comment. I don't know much about it. I say it's overpriced, though.

I read it, friend :) Whether I understand or not, I can't say.But the main point here, is that this is a red ring of death topic, not a specs topic :) People like 360 Master.... Sigh..

A red ring of death..in an Xbox 360 virus that is 1.Unrevealed to the public..and xbox officials Do know what it is..but they don't want to say2.an undiscovered virus..and the xbox officials don't know why or how it's happening.this virus after certain high usage of the 360 comes up after much playin or online downloading. see the green ring on the 360 when it turns on? i believe that is what turns RED. so therefore, you have to return your xboxb360 and have a new one.The creator of Xbox360 himself said, after one year, the xboxb360 is guaranteed to mess up more likely. this is why xbox comes with a full 3 year warranty, because they are positive that this virus will be infesting your 360 soon.due to certain forums, people have confessed that most xbox 360 red ring victims, were playing gears of war when it happened.can gears of war's addiction leading to many hours of gameplay be the cause?or just downloads and glitches in games?

xbox 360 has its problems, but what system doesn't?and if you get the red ring of death, you can send your xbox in to get fixed or replaced.its been awhile since the console's launch, so any initial bugs that were once there that messed it up, have been found and fixed in the newer ones being put out.
