My brother got GB about 20 years ago. Repeatedly we felt sad by the dead battery. So my brother invented the method that it could play without worrying about a dead battery! He attached to GB the connector which supplies a power supply directly from an electric socket. Wonderful!!

uhh got it from home depot after church when I was...8 i believe came with pokemon blue and the strategy guide for only $80

a gameboy collar with the magnifying glass light thing and pokemon yellow for my birthday when I was thirteen. man I did not sleep much after that, well until they took away the light attachment that is.

I was given an original Gameboy when i was too young to remember,when i was 7 i got a Gameboy color,and when zelda oracle of seasons came out I got a GBA.fond memories.funny thing is the original gameboy doesnt work because i dropped something on it and the screen stopped working. lol

I got my first gameboy color from a friend. I traded my Savage Garden cd for it. I know Savage Garden was so 90's. It just goes to show you how old I really am.

My first handheld was a blue GBA. I got it from Gamestop and traded up for a blue GBASP a couple years later. I'm currently on a DS Lite bought from Target on Black Friday a couple years back.
