I'm kind of embarrassed to say that I bought Diamond over Pearl because I liked the look of the pokemon on the cover more.

I prefer Diamond to Pearl. I like the blue color scheme better than the pink one. I also like the exclusive pokemon in Diamond much more than the ones in Pearl.

Because so many more people have Diamond, Pearl-exclusive Pokemon are a bit more in demand. =P Locally, at least. When you get that whole gobal thing going on, or if your boyfriend decides to buy both, then all that goes down the hole.

Man this needed to be bumped or else it might have been lost..so sorry for the off-topic post...But I don't prefer any game over the other; they are identical with the exception of what pokemon are available, so I can't say I prefer one over the other. I like all of the exclusives in both.
I hope I get a minus (-) warning level because I really need discounts on DP Conversions/Loans...

diamond because besides aggron can be obtained(my fav pokemon), there is tyranitar and dialga are just so cool!while pearl has palkia and some not very strong pokemon,but pearl is cool though

R u crazy! Diamond version is wayyyyyyyyyyyyy better i mean in diamond u et pokemon like arron, rampardos, and larvitar and they evolve into powerhousesPersonally i think Pearls better because Palkia looks awesome, i prefer the exclusive pokemon you get in the Pearl more than the Diamond

Diamond is wayy better. For one Dialga > Palkia because Palkia is just plain ugly. Secondly Diamond > Pearl since Diamonds are the hardest materials on Earth. Thirdly Pearl has this pinkish theme in the beginning, which is too girly for me due to the low ratio of girls playing games.

Well personally I like both games, and the exclusives don't really matter to me because you can always migrate them from your GBA Pokemon Games

idk theyre lik the same ting... except for different pkmn r found in some areas... i have pearl and i have bagon, stantler, pinsir, shieldon, etc...

diamonds advantage is that dialga has a special move called "Roar Of Time".pearls advantage is the really strong exclusive pokemon.ill go for both.

There's really not that much of a difference between them, and I have Wi-fi so I've got every other pokemon I wanted from Pearl. But Diamond is definately the more popular one. Plus, Dialga looks cooler.

I have Pearl personally. Because of Wi Fi trading and the GTS it's not hard at all for me to get say Dialga or any other Diamond exclusives, so really I think it's just a matter of personal preference.
