i also have both diamond and pearl, and i prefer diamond more because they have really powerful pokemon there like scizor(my fav), rampardos, and tyranitar. plus i also have ruby, so i can just transfer a bagon or a spheal and trade the rest. also, i agree dialga is totally cool!!

the games basically are the same, yeah, but there's the issue of the exclusive pkmns and such.. in my case i like dialga best so i tend to choose diamond over pearl..

Err...The only difference is the pokemon exclusives...however, I like some of Pearl's pokemon more (stat-wise/moveset-wise) so I'd go with Pearl.

I like pearl slightly better because of Palkia match type. But as long as the game has SHUCKLE!!

My choice is Diamond, the only difference between the games are the Exclusives, so that's why.

I have Diamond Ver. and I can`t complete my pokedex `cause I have no previous versions of POKM, So GTS is my salvation, but If I have no seen pokmeons that I don`t have... How Can I get`em? Only wait for the Platimun Version.... T_T

Neither is better than the other one, as the only diffrence are the pokemon, which you can easily get through internet trading. If you were going to choose, I suggest Pearl as a Palkia is rarer, and as such, a better trade in the global net. Anyway I still chose Diamond, as Murkrow IS THE BEST FLYING POKEMON

To be absolutely honest, I chose Diamond because they had the better looking 'dog' type pokemon. Mightyena looks so much better than Houndoom. Yes, I am that shallow.

I can't decide, pearl has Bagon, but diamond has poochena. So, i guess i will go with pearl. (you can also see a full guide at psypokes.com)

I think that Diamond is better because Tyranitar, Rampardos, and Scizor are all extremely awesome!But, pearl has houndour and i love fire types and dark typesso when you cambine them........Dialga and palkia are sweet but in the movis where they fought each other, Dialga should have won because he is super effective against Palkia's matchup. Darkrai should have just put both of them to sleep with Dark Void!

Well i have had both games and enjoy playing Pokemon diamond more simply because i think dialga looks and is better then palkia.
