Generally I like the Diamond Pokemon better.save for Slowpoke... I like him cause he is cuteThe biggest issue with diamond is that if you don't chose a fire starter, there is only Ponyta for a fire later in the game... urg

I voted for Diamond because it got really cool pokemon and some of my old favorite pokemon in there.

I was originally trying to decide which version to get, Diamond or Pearl, but I remembered that eventually the 3rd version will come along, usually with extra features and such. Might as well just wait a few months for that one instead of trying to decide between D/P.But back on topic, I'd say that Pearl seems to be better.

dialga is awesome, but ive always preferred pearl over diamond. i'm not sure why, but id always debate with my sister whether which one was better and we'd end up "but diamond's more fun"/"pearl sounds cooler" etc. exclusive pokemon are better in diamond, though.

I know Tyrantar has his weaknesses, but come on, he just owns. Diamond gets my vote. Oh, and Scizor is sweet, too.

Pokemon Pearl all the way.Palkia is just far too deadly in comparison to Dialga. Especially when played right in the uber metagame.

Diamond, definatly. For one it's Legendary is awesome...way better then Pearl. And outta the two, Diamond seems like the more 'manly' one...Pearl's case is all Pink, and it's named PEARL. lol.

i had to choose diamond because at most stores they made you reserve your copy of pearl and diagla is a drag/steel and has a much higher sp att

There's barely no difference between the two versions this generation (not even different teams. The only thing that's different is a bit of dialouge (exchange all "Palkia" references to "Dialga") and just a few exclusives. With the GTS and Pal Park it's much easier to get the exclusives as well. I'll have to say Pearl because I like Palkia better than Dialga (Spacial Rend > Roar of Time).

I perfer Diamond bc the characters in Peral look too cartoony and represent a step backwards in the series.Post only if you have a good reason to prefer one over the other or you'll be warned. Otherwise, just vote in the poll.There have been too many threads about which version is better.
