Bring the classic fighters back. The old school Street Fighter VS Mortal Kombat, which is a better play?

mortal kombat is better because it offers larager variety of characters. in street fighter, it is like corny.

Mortal Kombat is better. All the violence, blood, and gore of the early 80s in one game. Truly a classic.

Both, really. It all depends what mood you are in. If you want some fast paced action, with huge combos, than go with Street Fighter. If you want really gory combat with interactive environments(lave pits, spike pits, any kind of deadly pits you can think of.

), then go with Mortal Kombat.

Mortal Kombat is good but i like Street Fighter better because of RYU,KEN,AKUMA & CHUN-LI.

I say Street Fighter takes the cake. Street Fighter has quite a number of good games and it seems like Street Fighter won't die anytime soon.As for Mortal Kombat, I don't think the MK games even come close to the SF games and, in my opinion, MK's games seem to get weaker with every new release.

I like Mortal Combat better just because of just how much detail they put into the fighting. Different weapons and other things like interactive environments make it a better series in my eyes.

i liked both of them a lot, but MK was definitely more mature than street fighter, im not sure about better. my favorite character was in MK so i guess id choose that one
