Illidan definitely. I loved playing through his story arc in WCIII.*spoilers*I can't believe nihilum took him down...

why everyone think that illidan is cool???even if he morph to demon style, he is still such a weak.. only better in his appearance, taller but still ordinary..look very careful, use your scroll mouse to zoom in and look his weapon carefullyhis weapon maybe awesome, but its handle is nono, smiling panda?? (correct me if i wrong) oh kidding me!grom hellscream is much much better, besides his look and his action in wc3. (he fight manoroth (correct me) bravely)red eyes, scary face and much much look powerful than that night elf guy..have banner in his back show his clan maybe, and of course his weapon maybe it is just an axe but it is more useful and powerful, maybe oh it is just my opinion..

Illidan is deffinately the best I mean come on he's an elf with blades on his arms and can turn into a demon what could be better than that.

Grom Hellscream. He didn't want to be a bad guy, but the past came back to haunt him. However, he eventually he tore his tormentor a new one before dying in one of the most badass cutscenes in the game, saving his people from the fate he had cursed them with and making old wrongdoings right.

Well, Arthas pretty much 1-shotted Illidan at the end of WCIII, and I personally prefer the Undead/Scourge to the Night Elf (even though Illidan turned into a demon thing after consuming the Skull of Guldan), so that choice is rather easy. *SPOILERS*Also, completely irrelevant, but Illidan has be killed in WoW (by Nihilum, not sure if anyone else managed), while Arthas isn't probably even coded in yet.

Grom Hellscream, easy. Though I don't really consider him a 'bad guy,' he just seemed thirsty for power. Illidan was a whiny little wuss, and Arthas was pretty lame and annoying.

i chose illidan because he was the best anti-hero on the list. I'm surprised Maiev Shadowsong and Sylvanas Windrunner aren't on this list. Neither of them are villians, but they definitely aren't heroes. Poor Sylvanas has had to deal with being undead. Maiev is a certified nutcase, she is so obsessed with catching illidan that she almost causes more damage than he does.

Kael'thas Sunstrider is the coolest.*** SPOILER ALERT ***Stupid Arthas marched through Silvermoon and destroyed it. I hope that in WC4 that Kael gets his revenge.

I personally like Grom the most, because despite all his flaws he managed to redeem himself by slaying Mannoroth. That was also a great cinematic in WC3
