I appreciate games that take time. Anyone game developer can pop out a 10-level arcade romp that you can beat in a sitting, but I truly fall for games such as FFTA (my FIRST download here, thank you) that take 40+ hours to beat, and (it took me) 60 hours to 100%. If I wanted a quick game, I would go to the arcade or my mobile phone.. but I guess handheld devices WERE meant for a sort of pick up and play functionality. I do keep Gradius, or R-Type with me usually for bus rides, but only games such as FFTA, Fire Emblem, the sequel, Golden Sun, etc; can truly hold my interest.I guess in the end they both have a niche, and thats the reason they're made that way.

Well it all depends on the game. Some games are a quick play but worth it like Kingdom Hearts 2.I beat it really quick but it was really worth it. Yet the game Breath of Fire 3. I took a VERY VERY long time to beat it but it was extremely worth it!=-Rocky-R-=

definitely games that take time as short easy to beat ones cost alot and then you have to buy another really soon, it just means the maker has done it to get some quick cash and isn't really expecting it to sell as well as others.....

I enjoy both really, because sometimes I'm in the mood to pour hours into a game, and sometimes I just want to do something quickly to help with boredom.

Games that take time. I hate it when games are too short and you shelled out $50 for it.

excactly long games are much better than short and fast because they leave you with a sense of satisfaction.

Most of the time games that take time are the best because you have a long experience with them which is funner. In some situations there are certain games and series that are just high quality games even if they are easy to beat and those I don't really mind.

It's definitely a plus for there to be a fast start; I don't want any 1 hour Xenosaga business and a shortish learning curve, but the games with more replay value are always better in my book.

I get really mad when I can beat a game in like a day. It seems like a waste of money. Therefor I love longer games!

I love huge RPG and adventure games, but I can get lost and lose track of what i'm doingif it's big it needs a questlog to perfectly track what's going onshort games are fun, but really need replay value to get the money worht (Splinter Cell games have good replay value for a while, as you can tackle each mission differently)

Games like Sonic the Hedgehog 2, I like to race the clock, So I like to beat them fast. Otherwise, slow and steady
