I didnt really like digimon, to me it just seems like a copy of pokemon, they gave up after they realised that pokemon pwned them

I'm a pokemon fan, but I'll always love digimon more: the monsters just look so much cooler!Unfortunately, whereas pokemon has a nicely complex strategic element, digimon basically has "evolve and pwn," as mentioned before. That's why I think it tanked: Digimon are fun to write fanfic about, not to play.But the new DS titles are copying a lot of the elements from Pokemon and will hopefully revitalize the Digimon franchise. I sure enjoyed World DS.

The title itself is a pokemon rip off but I found some of the cartoons a little entertaining tbh but no franchise will ever measure up to that of the pokemon craze it is in a league of its own and if anything yu-gi-oh is more recent than digimon and therefore more interestin I have played Digimon games and they werent great and what the hell were the cards about pokemon did everything and more importantly they did it good

I watched it a couple of times when I was younger but I didn't like it, it's too much like Pokemon.

Pokemon became huge as a game and then the tv series became big. Digimon really first came out as a show but the games never really took off. Jetix(Disney) took over making the series, but i dont think a new has been made in a few years. Repeats are still on Jetix though(TOON DISNEY).

Digimon was pretty cool but they need better games, then more people would buy, I love digimon but I can't find any good games for them.

I think its because the digimon series was good but then started going down when they had those cards and stuff. other than that i like digimon.

Digimmon definately should have stayed on rather then pokemon. I will admit, pokemon games are good, and the original seasons were good (now they kinda suck) but digimon world rocked, i still play the 2nd one.

Digimon was the better anime, but pokemon had better games. Although I only like the first and second generation of pokemon games.

I'll tell you what happened. The same thing that happened to megaman. The game just got old and didn't have much originality left in it to go on. All in all though it was a decent game and show. nothing bad to say about it

I remember digimon used to be the best thing to watch but then they made season 3 and completely messed it up.

I agree, i used to love the first two seasons. They were kind of normal. Digimon could have made a good rpg(i didnt like the ones for ps1).i really stopped caring for the show after the 3rd season, that's when it went down hill i think

I used to really like it. That is, when I was like 8 hahah. The cards were sweet and I had A TON of the little figures lol.Digimon used to be ok. I don't really like it as much as I used to

Hum... Good question... Although I think Digimon is childish (compared to several other franchises), it seems more mature than Pokemon, and do actually have stories. Maybe Pokemon is mote "cute" than Digimon?
