definatly going to be sony. the prices are just to insane. no casual gamer will spend that much money when they have the Wii for 250.

Perhaps you should plan on learning to spell before you want to talk about 'sistems' and 'nentendo'none of them will go out of businessNintendo - Hugely popular in Japan, and always will beSony and Microsoft - make more than just consoles you know

its true. the only way one of them will go out of buisness is if the companies dont want to produce anything

I don't know that any of them will go out of business anytime soon. Sony and or micro$oft might pull out of the gaming business, though.

None of them are going to drop out of the business altogether. Nintendo has a hot product in the Wii; a cheap-to-make device that has the world in an uproar over how awesome it is. Plus, they've finally tackled the casual market completely (7 million in sales over an eight-month period is about 75% casual gamers, I'd garner to estimate). Microsoft simply wants to have that feeling of having the #1 console in a generation in terms of support and sales, and are about to move out of the red on the 360 before 2007 is out (which, funny enough, will be a first for Microsoft's Xbox Division). Sony is pretty familiar with their PlayStation brand's arc: a slow start (the first year is always the slowest year, thanks to last-gen's popularity -- think about it: 7 years after the PS2 came out, and there are still big-name blockbuster titles like God of War?), followed by a spark of popularity once developers start to really use the system and use it in new and different ways (normally shot off by a new IP), coinciding with dropping costs on their bleeding-edge technology. In other words, Nintendo plays it humble, Microsoft screams from the rooftops, and Sony tries to blaze into uncharted territory, followers be damned. I dare say three companies that are that different can co-exist peacefully. What people don't do when they answer one of these things is look past the next three months or so. Nor do they look at the past and the patterns from before. I fear that Nintendo is doing too much of the former, Microsoft too much of the latter, and Sony trying too hard to do both at the same time.

sony will go down first...the PS3 is a piece of crap, and nobody really cares for it...the games are slow the price is too high...it just plain sucks! Nintendo is going to be around the longest...i don't own any microsoft stuff yet, but i don't know about it...i think it's in middle...

Microsoft will be the first to pull out. They can keep on making things for the p.c. but thats it. Sony will someday be absorbed into Nintendo. I say this only because its going to happen.

I definitely think that Sony will Fail in the Games buisnedd. They'll never totally go out of buisness as they have the rest of their electronics market to rely on.I think That neither Microsoft of nintendo will fail. They're both doing too well in the Games market at the moment to fail (Touch wood).

As mentioned earlier, Sony has other markets it can fall back on, and as long as Mickey$oft makes OSes, it's not going anywhere: Nintendo would be the first company to fold. However, that being said, I believe that Nintendo will remain a staple of gaming communities (as it focuses mainly on children's/teen's games), and Sony produces games more focused on what us "old-school" gamers like. Microsoft is known for butchering titles (Mechwarrior, Shadowrun), have poor PR, and generally have no real clue as to what gamers want, beyond pretty graphics. I believe that Microsoft will be the first company to cease making video games/systems.

Microsoft won't go out first. They've made "Microsoft Surface" which is such an amazing product, but very limited and expensive. It definitely takes technology to a whole new level.

It's kinda hard to tell which system will go out of bussiness first, Nintendo is way too popular in japanSony if i have to put money in it, i'd say sony goes down firstMicrosoft their consoles tend to cook their own guts.

I don't think any of them will go out of business. Microsoft is too rich, Nintendo has been around forever and Sony makes to many electronics to go out of business.
