I always buy the game if I like it. I find it generally pretty helpful to get the instructions and what not also.

Doesn't that completely defeat the purpose of having bought your emulator? It's just a waste of money.

I have most of the games for the roms i get for the snes and nes. I can't test any ds games on the computer as the emulator isn't perfected yet.

I sometimes do, but a lot of roms I download I end up hating and being EXTREMELY grateful I didn't drop the cash on. But ones that I love, I do end up buying so as to support the programmers and such that were behind the games I enjoyed playing so much.

I buy more NDS games than I download, but the NDS belongs to my GF so I usually just leave all my games at her place, but sometimes I just feel so eager to wanna play the game that I'll download it as well. Only other time I'll download a game is if it looks good but I'm not too sure about it. Paying $60 for a DS game thats crap is not cool

I've only bought one game that I already had as a rom and that was Super Mario Bros. 3. It just feels different playing it on a t.v. opposed to a computer screen.
