I don't. I'm a collector and the instore credit they give for your game isn't even close to the game's true value. You'd be much better served selling the game yourself on eBay.

Pretty much my thoughts, there. Then again, us being gamers, we should know full well that stores never buy things from you at the same price as when you bought it from them.Always at least half price. So if you bought a game for like, 20 bucks, expect no more than 12 if you return it. Most likely 10 or 8.

Yeah i dont do it because they give you like maybe $5 at the most for games that i like once payed $50 for so normally just keep them and replay them later some other time.

-shrugs-I think it depends on whether or not you're ever going to play it again. It's like me and books. My mom says I shouldn't buy my books if I'm going to finish that 500 page book in 4 hours. She says I should just check them out at the library.I disagree for two reasons: I actually like to reread my books, and I actually take pride in seeing that bookshelf in my room filled with large books. If you want to keep it as a collection, you should. But if you aren't ever going to use it again, then you'd be better off trading it in for a different game.

I do... When I get bored with games and don't want them any more, I don't want to have to deal with sending the game somewhere when I can easily trade it in for another game.

i'm with him. especially if it's a harder game to come by, and you treat your stuff well. totally hit e-bay. if you don't treat it as well, send it to the game stores

selling games at EBgames or Gamestop is a good way to lose money. i remember i went in one time to trade in my n64/ 4 controllers/ 2 memory cards/ 4 rumble packs/ and 43 games..... i only got 50$ for the whole package..... this was around the time gamecube was just released.... man i was pissed.
