Why would I ever sell a game that I already bought? I bought it because I wanted to play it and I might want to play it again.

I usually keep my old games. I attach a kind of sentimental value to them. Plus, if I'm in the mood, it's nice to go to an old game and play it again. It's like returning to an old friend.

I've thought about selling my games when i don't play them for a while, yet, i still have every game i ever owned sitting in a drawer, for nostalgia's sake i suppose.

The only games I've sold were bad ones I didn't finish and/or like, such as FF Crystal Chronicles or the awful PS2 Spyro game (why didn't they just keep it PS1?). Otherwise I keep them and replay later, since I don't have the money to get games consistently.

I never sell games I own you never know when you might want to play them again. I have all my games for the SNES N64 and Gamecube still and the systems just waiting for me to want to play them again 
Same with all Nintendo handhealds, but nowadays I don't buy games I download them for free so I guess it is not relevant anymore

I usually keep them. I had a bad habit of selling them on, and six months later, wanting to play them again. Now, I keep them, in case I ever want to play them again.

Back when i had a mega drive id trade because you got a decent deal,now...i keep them,games cost so much and you get diddly squat in p/x

Same here! I just download roms so I don't have to sell!Well, at the time I was young, we got a another game if we completed it! But now, I download new games! But, we keep it.

i sell most of my bought games nowadays. there is a close japanese game store nearby my area so i usually go there to trade my used games with money (which isnt that much compared to how much i used to buy them). still, money is money and i only sell my games if i really finished it and played it enough already.

I keep all of my games. It rarely seems worth it for me to sell it off. I almost never buy launch/gold day... In fact, I rarely buy within the first month because I'd rather wait until there are a lot of reviews out for a game before I spend the money on it. So by the time I end up getting a game, the shiny has worn off and the game ends up being more to ship than I'd earn.

I sell a game after I beat it unless it has extra content like online multiplayer or more difficulty levels plus achievements.
