I was playing a game called Gotcha Force for the GC. When I went to save it, it wouldn't let me. For you to relate, imagine if you had a Pokemon game and you had all of the except for 20. You even had some rare ones. But when you went to save it, you're game glitched up. Now after that happens, imagine that after that, your whole Nintendo system rejects every game save you try. Oh so great, lost over 400 hours of my life.

My sad and pitiful story of lore is about Disgaea for the Playstation 2. I had played the around 285 hours Laharl (the main character) was level 375 (give or take 5 levels or so) but I had beaten the game about 4 times and the only thing left to do was level three to five of my better characters to level 9,999 so that I could be this secret area called the "Alternate Netherworld" becuase the final boss in that zone was also level 9,999 so I had to have AT least 3 characters at 9,999. But after almost 300 hours of gameplay, the last 100 hours of gameplay being played in the same zone over and over and over again becausee it was a great place to grind and level up. Well I had decided to start a new game to play threw the game again becuase I was bored and I had saved and did the same thing as the original post and saved my new file over my old, uber great file. I literally almost cried, I've never played Disgaea again even though its one of my all time favorite games, I've played that game more then any other game I've owned. Oh well some day a few years down the road maybe (MAYBE) I'll get over the pain and start a new file and play it another 300 hours.

Ive been pretty lucky with my games. Nothing that bad has happened. But my favourite game pokemon gold wont save anymore which is so frustrating. Once my ps one crapped itself after just completing a two hour endurance race on Gran Turismo 2

My worst experince was when I played Final Fantasy VIII. Evryone of my characterswas at level 99. Everyone had their ultimate weapon. (PS:I hadn't beat the game yet). So when I started the game to kill the last boos I clicked on "Load game". I thougth I was gonna die when I saw it. There was nothing there! No save file!I screamed and almost threw a chair out a window. I was soooo pissed. I never found out what had happened.

I had bought a color gameboy when they first came out and had one of the pokemon games for it. I played it for the entire month I was at NTC(army training center for thos eof you who don't know) and then when I was getting ready to leave someone stole my gameboy and that game. A solid month of work gone. I got another gameboy after that but never got back into pokemon. It just felt dumb to have to do everything again. I don't know how many hours I had on it exactly but I'd guess it was over 200 hours of hunting down every pokemon that could be found in that version.

I was playing FF7 for PS1 and i tried to play it without saving. i was like in the end of the game (took me like 4 weeks of intense gaming). Suddenly when i was playing my mom came in and kicked the main power cabel and the PS1 was shut down. After that i wouldn't talk to my mom for weeks! Seriously..

Okay lets see the worst thing... I was playing zelda ocarina of time... on my computer( I never get tired of that game) and since I had played it so many times I just kept playing and playing and playing, because I knew what to do... but everytime I played the game I always got stuck on this one part and just asked my brother to do it while im off somewhere else, I finally got how to do it and feeling proud of myself I went on. Then the screen went off... there was a black out! It was for 2 hours, and when the electricity came back on, I went to play(yeah im that desperate) I noticed my file wasn't saved. Had to start all over.

1) Playing Simcity on SNES and i get my city built up with all the necessary components. Once the city is making money, however much, turn the TV off and clean up from the disasters in the morning. One time the FREAKIN tornado went through my power plant so the next morning I had no residents and only a little more money. <_<2) Falling into the hole with the billy goats gruff in Super Metroid. It is possible to get out but its just annoying to wall hop all the way back up.3) Falling off of the edge of the map in Everqest and it drops me (as it is supposed to), right in the middle of the map. In this particular zone, that happened to be next to an Ancient Cyclops. I was only level 8. :)

once upon a time, i had a golden sun 2 save file.i had played 200 hours on iti had lv 99 isaac, 99 garet, 99 ivan, 99 mia, and lv 69-71 felix jenna sheba and piersmy sister, who was about 8 years old like the game so i gave her a save file on which she could play on.when i used the password to transfer the save from golden sun1 to golden sun2, after i transfered the password onto my sisters save i automatically started playing that save. just then my piano teacher drove up (i used to play piano, play guitar now).seeing how i had played the game 200hours i could remember everything off by heart and did not look at where i saved.NORMALLY, when you start a golden sun2 save if you save the game the cursor automatically goes to the file which you loaded from.now my sisters save file was slot 3.my save file was slot 1.for some reason, after i transfered the save game from golden sun1 the cursor went to the first slot and i accidentally wrote over my 200 hours EXTREMELY PRO golden sun2 file.i died after i saw.....to all you golden sun2 players...DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ever since this happend, i never played my golden sun2 again, i just leave it, i know it sounds sad but thats what i did!!! (somehow it became part of my life, i remember how i finished the game in 3 days once)DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

I can't come close to that kind of heart break, but i was playing an ok game in Bevis and butthead for the Genesis. It was a pretty long game, and honestly i got through it with alot of luck, but i got to the end of the game which was a GWAR concert, but then i noticed that there was a dog on the side of the screen......bad idea...the concert is the END of the game, but if you inspect the dog, YOU DIE!!!!!! lol, i said F*** IT, and game genied my way to the end....lol

My friend stole my copy of Pokémon Crystal once >_< And my cats somehow got a hold of my Xenosaga disc and totally ruined it. So scratched it won't go past the first save point anymore *double >_<*
