I got to Endgame on Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance on Hard Mode. It took me forever to get there (I'm not really that great at these sorts of games), and then my sister saved over the file.

i had the original DMC 3 played through it for months on end unlocked everything.then i put it on a shelf in my closet to go get something to drink well the kitchen caught on fire(long story) and some stuff exploded.so the house shook and the game fell down into a corner and stuff fell on top of it.found it months later and it looked fine so i go to take it out and clean it up and it turns to dust in my hands XD .Ihave the special edition now(it turning to dust was the perfect excuse to get it XD )but the funny thing is nothing else(besides the kitchen of course)was harmed. XD

basically the same thing happened to my goldeneye with all the levels beaten on 00 agent will all the special stuff, some kids who borrowed it, friends of my little bro, erased it on accident. That sucked. Worse though was when my grandma thrashed the chord for my ps2 headset when socom first came out and i just got the system online. That really sucked.

Well, once upon a time I was playing final fantasy x...I had 724 hours on it, I played for about two hours a day for one year. I was on the verge of making every one obsolete...till my cousin deleted it, then delete went to punch...

I let my little cousins play my harvest moon game and I told them not to save...and I guess they did by accident so like I lost my Wife, 500k, and my kid... oh plus the 10 game years D= It was sad... but at least I caught back up now...I played for 8 game years and I have around 400k. I miss my cows the most :weep: Because they all gave golden milk =)

The worst thing that have happened to one of my games is that when I had my Harvest Moon 3, been playing for a few hours and had a few good looking cows, chickens, horses and loads of crops to harvest.. And the stupid game didn't want to save and all my data was lost.. I almost threw the game into the wall due to frustration over the lost hours and the fact that my Gameboy Color never would be the same again..

corrupted save files! I hated it back in the PS1 days especially when you drop your memory card! I had lost several saves because of it! Though I think I have counterfeit memory cards but still, losing your progress is very heart-breaking...

Way back when, I would play SSBM and get every character and every stage. Then a few days later, my memory card would get an error and had to reformat all the data, meaning all saved data was deleted. I would get everything again though, but the memory card reformated about three more times after I got everything three more times.

One of my worst gaming moments was in Digimon World 2003. I had almost everything, and that saying a lot. I just needed to get my Patamon to level 99, get 2 more digimon battle cards, and get one more of the rare armour/weapons. And then one day a tricksy little gollum called matt decided to sit on my bed with the ps1 on it. His heavy weight made the whole crack in half. That's not the worst part. I had to scrounge around in a spider filled shed looking for my spare playstation. If I didn't, I wouldn't be able to play the other digimons, or final fantasy, or crash team racing, or spyro, or soulblade etc. So yeah, the 350 or so hours of my life spent on that game disappeared.

The worst that has happened to me was in Tomb Raider. I was already pretty advanced in the game when Lara fell into a trap and I didn't realise it. I though it was ok. and so I saved the game. Afterwards, when I noticed my mistake, I got seriously pissed of, more towards myself than the game itself... It's also terrible when I'm in some advanced level, haven't saved it yet, and the game suddenly crashes - that has happenned to me in many games already.

When I was 8, I was playing with a friend to Chip'n Dale on NES. At the final boss, I put a bottle on the table near the NES and... the "shock" made the game freeze ! The NES was an excellent console but way too fragile for kids ^^'
