My save data on Chrono Trigger would randomly delete itself. Something was wrong with the cart, I guess.. but I was pretty pissed.

I was playing Pokemon Pearl late one night and went on a catching spree, managing to get among other things, a shiny blue electrode which i named BlueBall. I soon thereafter passed out without saving and neglected to plug my ds into the power socket. when i woke up, it had died. :weep:

once upon a time, i had a golden sun 2 save file.i had played 200 hours on iti had lv 99 isaac, 99 garet, 99 ivan, 99 mia, and lv 69-71 felix jenna sheba and piersmy sister, who was about 8 years old like the game so i gave her a save file on which she could play on.when i used the password to transfer the save from golden sun1 to golden sun2, after i transfered the password onto my sisters save i automatically started playing that save. just then my piano teacher drove up (i used to play piano, play guitar now).seeing how i had played the game 200hours i could remember everything off by heart and did not look at where i saved.NORMALLY, when you start a golden sun2 save if you save the game the cursor automatically goes to the file which you loaded from.now my sisters save file was slot 3.my save file was slot 1.for some reason, after i transfered the save game from golden sun1 the cursor went to the first slot and i accidentally wrote over my 200 hours EXTREMELY PRO golden sun2 file.i died after i saw.....to all you golden sun2 players...DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ever since this happend, i never played my golden sun2 again, i just leave it, i know it sounds sad but thats what i did!!! (somehow it became part of my life, i remember how i finished the game in 3 days once)DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

almost the same thing happend to me but it was in final fantasy tactics my guys wher all lvl 50 and i saved over it D=

I once had my entire gamecube memory card deleted, because of the SSBM debug mode.Worst part was that in SA2: Battle, I had an All-S Ultimate devil chao.Yeah, that took so much breeding it's not even funny.I also accidentally corrupted a friend's SA2 data, who had an almost all-S ultimate angel chao.It wasn't on purpose though.

I had a memory card for my ps2 with all my 100% completed games and it broke. I was so mad. More than one of these occured. My kingdom hearts 2 version was 99% done and my brother saved over it same with other games. I've never played the games since.

peh, worst thing that happenes to my games..??...none actually, all my saves (except one I can't delete or identify on 1 of my ps2 mem cards) the worst thig that happens to me gaming wise would have to be the systems breaking down. So far every system I had broke or was starting to break. The more puzzling thing is though that I don't drop or even really move these systems at all.......they seem to be breaking down naturally or for no reason. 1st the gamecube borke (thankfully I got it fixed) then the xbox starts to act up (error reading cd), my old old ps2 died a long time ago but my new slimline seems to be doing the exact same thing my old ps2 was doing.....again....error reading cd, and honistly....now that ps3 is out......what the hell am I gonna do with a dead ps2 (considering the COST of a ps3). I think theres a chip in all these systems, whenever the warrentee wears out, the chip causes these "malfunctions" :-p BLAH humbug

I was playing Saint's Row, with my Xbox 360 standing vertically. At one point, I got so excited I bumped my Xbox 360 over, which made a horrible grinding noise. Needless to say, it tore my game to shreds- big, circular gashes along the edges and center of the disc. I was pissed. But hey, my fault.
