The worst thing that happened to me in-game was during Diablo II LoD. I was muling (when you take off all of your items to transfer to a character to hold them) and something happened. Every day, Battle.net resets every game. I lost stuff that would be worth like $50 on eBay. As for physical damage, I was playing my SSBM and my dog ran past the TV and myself, hitting the controller wire. This propelled the Gamecube across my room. Everything was fine but the fan. Now, it runs for 30min and then shuts down because it overheats.

Final Fantasy VI.Reld sketches a frog, and the frog jumps away. Her characters sprite changes to General Leo (wtf?). The battle ends and I didn't think too much of it. I save my game and come back later, and the save file is corrupt. I had pages of Ragnaroks, 255 of them in each slot. Shadow had an endless supply of them with which to fling at his enemies without any regard at all, but the game was then unplayable. Lots of graphic corruption everywhere, the whole game just broke. I was just near the end, too.

I was playing my pokemon fire red rom and i erased the save file on my documents. This happens on every pokemon rom ive ever layed fingertips on.

For me I had the best records for super smash brothers melee all the trophies, records, and characters i took the game to my cousins house and it said game corrupted on his gamecube i blamed him and i got pissed so i never played it again didnt want to start allover.

I have two-First, waaaaay back, I had a red version game, in which after i had beaten it, I used a gameshark to get mew and do other sorts of nonsense; now everyone remembers how pokemon games would come up with the scratched out nintendo sign on the game boy pocket, and you would take it out and blow on it before restarting to make it work. The one time i saw the glitchy nintendo logo and didn't take it out to blow on it, my game erased itself. Being like 8 years old, I cried, and never played red version again. This didn't matter, because yellow version was there to dry my tears soon enoughFar later though, I had a castlevania circle of the moon game for the gameboy advance, and being on some ridiculously high level (I've since erased that number from my memory) and with all the cards; just about to fight dracula.... I turned on my game one day to find it gone. No save file. No data. Just gone, without an explanation. Never turned it on since...

Hmm, I haven't ever lost a good save file, but I DID have an entire game(FF5) get ruined because another game box fell onto the cd and broke it in half... o__o

I was playing pokemon yellow when i was about 7 and i gots angry at my rival at the very end after the forth elite four member and i was killed by a critical hit by a 'not very effective' attack and the pokemon i was fighting's life was in the red and i head butted my gameboy and it bled black... and on top of that i was at my grandmas for three more weeks with nothing to do and no cable tv or anything.... it sucked...

I had started a new game on ffX for the fun and after playing up to that big fish thing near thr temple decided I was going to load up my good save 140 hours and play blitzball. I was on the phone while doing this so when I went to save the new game I accidentally saved over my really good save. My cousin on the other end of the phone line was wondering why a kept swearing into the phone for the next hour.

lol firstly one of the worst experiences with gaming ive had is playn a co op game with my mate 4 about 5 hours without saving and then... BAM! powercut, it sucked, we lost all our data and good items, and also we didnt reali wanna play anymore after that!But the worst thing thats happened is when all of a sudden my ps2 memory card was not recognised by any ps2, well there goes 400+ hours of gaming.. i had some reali good saves on ther and now i have nothing, its given me a reason to play all my old games again though.

Hi dochmaster hereI bought this game called lord of the rings online and had level 30 on my character had lots of money and had loads of cool stuff until i let my brother play and he started off and played for 5 mins then got bored so saved it over all of my saves!!!!!!I was so angry i just wanted to kill him i spent hours on that game and he just recked it (and that was the 5th time hes reked one of my games)So take care of yor games and watch yor saves.once upon a time, i had a golden sun 2 save file.i had played 200 hours on iti had lv 99 isaac, 99 garet, 99 ivan, 99 mia, and lv 69-71 felix jenna sheba and piersmy sister, who was about 8 years old like the game so i gave her a save file on which she could play on.when i used the password to transfer the save from golden sun1 to golden sun2, after i transfered the password onto my sisters save i automatically started playing that save. just then my piano teacher drove up (i used to play piano, play guitar now).seeing how i had played the game 200hours i could remember everything off by heart and did not look at where i saved.NORMALLY, when you start a golden sun2 save if you save the game the cursor automatically goes to the file which you loaded from.now my sisters save file was slot 3.my save file was slot 1.for some reason, after i transfered the save game from golden sun1 the cursor went to the first slot and i accidentally wrote over my 200 hours EXTREMELY PRO golden sun2 file.i died after i saw.....to all you golden sun2 players...DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!ever since this happend, i never played my golden sun2 again, i just leave it, i know it sounds sad but thats what i did!!! (somehow it became part of my life, i remember how i finished the game in 3 days once)DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU

like about a year ago i had like 10 GBA games and i went for a dry spell where i didn't play my GBA Sp for awhile and i started playing again and i noticed i only had like 4 games left i was like WHERE ARE ALL MY GAMES!and i still havent found any of them.

it'd have to be FF10, i had a special expansion for my memroy card and it had black button at the end of it saying FORMAT. when i pushed it into my PS2 i pressed the format button by accident (stupid place to have the button really) and wiped all the saved games on it!!!! arrrghhh, but i did play again!

well, i ad pokemon ruby. i had around 190 pokemons. like 20 levels 100+. i really liked that game when i was younger.then for some reason, when i went to play it again, i saw i was standing in the house where you start. with no pokemons, 0 cash, nothing...
keep going, and eventually you will reach the top.

Playing final fantasy 10, killed 1 boss, ran strait pass the next save point without thinking (they also restore Hp + Mana) started fight on next boss, worked really hard, He summons an Aeon, i kill it eventually, (it has a 1 hit kill atttack), then the guy that summoned it starts using some technique so he can cast 2 spells at once, i died + now i have to do it all over again
