buy the 8 gig online, its cheaper than the 4 gig at stores. It seems like a lot of memory, but trust me, if you want to unleash the full pontential of your psp (music, movies, and games-ISO/CSO/Hombrew-) its worth it. i mean ipod has like 30 gigs and it only plays music, how do you expect to have movies music and games without at least 8 gigs?

Let's put it this way if you want to download a game online to play on psp u have to have more than 1gig

well 1 or 2 gig would be good for your first time but if you go on ebay they have 8 gig sticks for cheap prices for once you start actually "using" your psp for videos and stuff.

go for the 4 gig as you might want to put the games in it but have a little more videos than you expected or some new songs just came out, and dont forget the save files for games.

If you are going to run isos off the stick get a 4 gig. If it is just for memory get a 2gig.

1GB minimum but preferably 2GB and if you dont mind spending a bit more 4GB (more extra room)

I just got my brand new psp slim. i got a two gig but it wasnt big enought for all my fav games so i went to future shop and bought an 8 gig.8 gig is the way to go =D , but 4gig is prob most efficent.

you should get at least 4gb i have two and a2gb still not enough you can get 4gb for 35-50 bucks not a bad deal

i suggest 4GBi got good games in there so itz easy to fill it updun have to delete n add n delete, saves time overall

It depends on what you have. if you have a lot of games and more money to burn go for the 4gb, or if you short on money you can buy the 1gb or 2gb, like i said it depends on you.

I would say 2 GB but if you plan on doing emulation get 4 GB. Also since you plan on having music and pics, you should get 4GB

I've got 4Gb and happy with it. Still, 8Gb would've been great. Then again, I can't stuff my 4Gb with games, so what for?
