if its not too much to ask, i wanna know how you make your best background effect XDi dun need a whole tutorial, basic guidelines is enough like:clouds->mosaic->duplicate layer-> color dodge->burn->new color layer-> dodge tool-> overlaywhy i need this you ask?ammm for new ideas? i find myself using the same background over and over

use 3d brushes or other cool brushes and to fill the white part left:make a new layer and then clouds in the new layer..and can u post an example of ur background i wanna c it..

Duplicate the unresized image once or twice until its filled up. Merge the images (ctrl + e) into a single layer. Filter > Blur > Gaussian Blur at 2.0 pixels. And I usually go with pasting and sometimes a brush here and there. Filters work alot better though, imo.

I actually don't bother with making the background seperate of the render. Although, an easy and pretty good place to start is just smudging duplicates of the render (re-sized or otherwise, whatever your fancy).

ammm yea i figured most of the people here dun make their own backgrounds and use the background of their image...i guess its good but, if some1 makes his background from scratch, i really wanna see it :Phere is the latest sig i made, this is my fav background, mainly its playing with the dodge/burn tool and lots of layers with dif blending modes:Latest sig
