Seems like a lot of people do all three. Personally, if I can afford them, I like to get them brand new. Especially limited editions. I'm a sucker for the extra material. At least, if I deem it worth the cash. Otherwise, I stick to sales. I don't like getting games used, unless it's either from Hastings or GameStop, because they at least have the disc rebuffing machine...thing.

It all depends on the game. I never buy new unless I know I really want a game and it will be worthwhile. Games that look good but I can do without I rarely buy until the price goes down. I do buy some used games, although I prefer new.

I usually dont buy a game immediately, because if you wait as little as one year the games price somtimes is cheaper by half and even 3/4 of full price. And then when stores have specials on(christmas ect) games can get REALLY cheap, so you just have to have patience to get game really cheap,

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.
