i think the charizard is the most useful... i equip it with 4 hm's strength, cut, fly and rock smashthis way i don't use the other pokémons attacks slots for hm's, have one pokémon with almost all them

i would have to say blastoise or pidgeot. Blastoise because it could leaarn a bunch of hms and is powerful. same with pidgeot just without the hms.

ya the best one would have to be zigzagoon cuz he can learn all rocksmash,strength,cut and it piks up stuff as you walk

i thought gardevoirs trace was useful until i fought a slaking and it only moved every other turn! has this happended to anyone else?

That would be any flying type pokemon. My personal favorite is Lugia. You can get to anwhere you want.

Ralts with its trace abiltiy is very useful i think, but Zigzagoon is very good also.

Most useful for me would be Kyogre from Sapphire. Beat the Whole Elite Four with Kyogre alone

the useful ones would be the ones with the pickup ability , zigzagoon, meowth, phanpy, i dont use them for battling, just take advantage of them

i always thought that breloom was good. my favourite too. but you cant be too cheeky using it against a flying type. in game i beat a skarmoray with it (the gym leader's one too, lol). and it can learn a few hm's, but its a better attacker. good to beat the electric gym too when it learns mach punch, especially if you dont have a strong starter or if you chose treecko (but why would u want 2 grass types anyhow?)
