id have to say scyther or scizor. the false swipe is awesome. especially when u have a strong party and want to catch a weak pokemon. but mew is useful too. it can learn any moves taught to it

It was either Mew or Mr. Mime. Mew because it was Mew, Mr. Mime becauseit was cool on red and had a grass type move.

Which ever pokemon can use most HMs, then ill just keep it so it can be useful for wherever i go

Most usefulls ? For the story-part of the games, i'd say Dragon-type. Because they're strong, resistant, and fear almost only Ice-type.But for the longer part, which is Pokemon-lvling at the near end of these games. i'd say, (since it's almost alway Fighting-type and ground-type in the last dingeon with strongest pokement) that Psychic-type are the most usefull.Because i can up a lvl 3 pokemon to a lvl 30 in not even 15 minutes. lol. (it pay to have the Exp.Share item, + switching pokemon.)

Mew is A-some. He can learn every single TM and Hm and also has a good variety of moves. (etc. Transform, Psychic)

for me its eevee ,it can help u if u use the water stone it will evolve into vaporeon the it can help u against dragon-type pokemon like dragonite.

i agree w/ searchman sp if ur looking to add pages to ur pokedex and better ur team evee is the way to go. especially on the gold/silver and crystal games

Any fire pokemon that is obtained in the begining and trained riggerously. I just go with strength, and teach it a move that can wipe out it's weaknesses. (That's why I never use the TM's I find until I need it.)

I like Eevee since you can keep breeding it and basically end up with a whole well rounded up team. Meowth is also useful for the Pickup ability too in FR/LG.

i think that the most useful pokemon to me is sharpedo. i like it because it can learn lots of the most ugliest HMs.
