HA!I think you never finished GTA at all!But speaking of cheats I sometimes need cheats in a very boring part of a game so i can pass it.I do agree that cheats when used are sometimes making the game look hard and boring,but if you try it without cheats (at least once) its gonna be really challenging!!I think cheats are just a lame backdoor. The thing i love with games is the challenge at cheats kinda removes that...But it could be fun to try some cheats after you have cleared it like in GTA and such

It depends on the game, but I usually don't cheat. If it's stupid difficult (as in "difficult for no real reason and local in difficulty) I may cheat.

I have a pretty relaxed view of cheats. For instance, if I absolutely CANNOT get past a certain part of a level, I'll use a cheat. The moment I get past it, I'll turn it off.On the other hand, if I'm playing a game like GTA (which isn't out of the norm), I'll go through cheats like nobody's business. At the same time, though, they're usually silly cheats like cars float away when hit, or something that gets me from point A to point B quicker -- a la jetpack.Also, first post. Yay.

i sometimes finish the game first then use cheats or if im stuck somewherein super smash bros melee i only use cheats for debug mode

To me it doesn't matter if I use cheats before or after finishing the game.It's just fun to play and win or play and lose.If you win good.If you lose get the game back out and try again.

it depends how hard the game is. if its insane hard i will but either way i'll end up looking for them in the end just for fun... =p

Unless a game really has me stuck or stumped (which is a rarity these days) I will but I really like being able to test and improve my skills then cheat my way through to, as someone stated before, appreciate them more.

depends on difficulty.i usually look at the cheats to see what they do.i dont start off the game with invincibility and unlimited ammo, but maybe extra ammo drops or something.that was a bad example.ahha.

Depends pretty much on the game.Basically I'll try to beat a game without cheating,but if I encounter a real funkiller sequence,most of the time cheating is the last resort.After beating the game I'll usually cheat-just for fun.

By my standards, cheating without knowing the game well is very pointless. So I complete the game first, then use cheats, like on the Tony Hawk games.However, I felt sorry for doing this, because I played GTA: San Andreas, and without beating the game first, I used cheats, because I couldn't find a way to the roof of that San Fierro pimp guy's place.But after I used the jetpack, I saw a set of stairs. I felt so stupid.
