Its one of the biggest roms cause it is one of the longest gba games and one does rarely get bored of it, so one can play it for long time without getting bored

The Gameplay is simple, easy , and fun to play.Especially in raising new pokemon or catching it.. need to catch rare pokemons too

The reason Pokemon is so great in my opinion is the replay factor. You can buy a copy of Diamond and still be playing it five years from now cause of the massive universe that makes up Pokemon and also cause of the many online feautures

Well firstly, i think it's bause it's a good rpg type game. Also, there used to be many cartoons on it which is why people became fans of them early on. Also because of Pokemon Crads as well. It's just all built up really well.

Easy answer: Pokemon games are fun as hell and since so many kids have them, it won't be hard to find a trade partner.

Well when you play a pokemon game once you are kind of addicted. Also, most people don't watch the show (lost whatever true pokemon fans around third season >.>) but they still like the game and the pokemon so they want to get the game for one of two reasons, they want to continue to play in a new game and they wanted to see the new pokemon. And of course there are the people that get the game because their friends have it and they want to battle with them but get addicted like I said before. There are many different causes as you can see.

theres lot of things u can do in that game, like beat all gyms,catch all pokemon, get all items, beat elite four+champion,get all legendaries.

It's probably the amount that you can do in the game as well as that you can link up with friends to battle, trade or (with the newer games) play mini games. Also the music is good and the graphics are ok and colorful. Another thing being that the battle system is done very well and will keep the gamer entertained for a good long while.

RPG+Anime serie that alot of kids watching and a few adults (im a kid!) and pokemon trading card? alot of pokemon out there so they must have the game to i guess

because people "gotta catch'em all!' and than see how high they can raise their pokemons level until they get bored but there is also wireless battles nowadays

pokemon really did get old after the 3rd season (commenting on what the other guy said)i play pokemon for the same reason i love rpg's i love collecting the rarest, the strongest, and the best...its fun to level something fight other people with it, and continue to grow stronger.the shows were great, but just like power rangers...they killed it with too many seasons

the show got horrible after the Pokemon League at Indigo Plateau but the games are still fun

I think it's because it is the only good game in GBA..Unlike other games, pokemon game has long good stories, fantasy characters, and excitement like catching all the legendary pokemon. The graphic might be simple, but the game is fun.

Well i just think that pokemon is interesting raising battling.... ya pretty cool.I still think that gamefreak should make better graphics though.
