Skirms the best early rushing unit. Why? If you opponent makes men-at-arms, you outrange them and can hit and run. If they build archers, you counter them. If they build skirms, it's a tie. With skirms it's a tie-win situation. Cav might pose a problem, but that's what spears are for

I have to say the second is better than the 3rd unless your talking about online. online i have to say is better for the rushing danger that i love.

Unless you're playing ports. They can be so hard to rush with their extra TC plus colonial militia.

age of mythologyi bouth a cd of that and i can say that its graphics is so good my clasmate borow the cd to me and he always tells story about it

I played 1,2, and Mythology.Why is it fun? Hmm...I guess because it's easy to understand, and it's like civilized. Unlike Warcraft and Startcraft. >>

I`ve played all the AOE games and i think AOE II was the best... AOE III is kinda boring.

AOM is a great gamei love the temple units and im a great fan of mythology in genral

AoE and AoE II are possibly two of the best RTS games of all time IMO, they really launched the RTS genre along with Blizzard's games. not a fan of AoM and haven't played AoE III. AoE II is good enough, depsite poor graphics. the best multiplayer settings are, IMO, no-rush post-imperial deathmatches , although they quickly turn into battles of attrition, they're a lot of fun

I've tried or seen all of them.I got bored with them though, because they all are lacking in the way of a powerful AI to keep the game moving

i think AOE 3 is a disaster, only 1 age and guns, I don't like thatAOE 1,2 are the best

AOE games teaches you a lot about history if you pay attention to the stories and not skip over them.

i played them all, played AoE, empire Earth 1 and 2, company of heroesi like Aoe3 alot mainly cuz of the breathtaking ship battles, with debis flinging everywhere and the physics engine. gets kinda boring after 50 hours of playing though

number 1 was pretty bad, i loved number 2 but number 3 was worse than number 1, i guess it's just gettin old

i play that game... i am pretty good at it. its really fun but once your bored, you will abandon this game and ill ocasionally play it... like me. the thing that i wonder, is that if age of empires 3 is good? i have two most time you will play is atleast a month!!!!try it

I loved teh Age of Empire Series. its definitely one of the best RTS series ever, and it isn't hard to get into.

microsofts age of empires series are too excellent. age of empires I, II and IIIare good ones. i've played age of empires 1 & 2 and playing 3. Version byversion, the graphics are too good, but one backdrop is, age of empires 3 requires high-end system, which is costlier, then only we can enjoy aoe-3.Above all, i like age of mythology, excellent graphics and sound effects.

Age of empires needs to have more information like civilisation but still keep all the themes you can do. Visually it looks much better
