I believe that this so called crest is none other than the Triforce. Sacred crest... pffffft! ;)The other is an hourglass of sorts (all this talk of hourglasses makes me think of the world's hardest game version 2.0)They allow you to access different floors in the temple.A sacred crest and an hourglass which connects the sacred tablets, I think.

I called it a sacred crest in conjunction with the Ocarina of Time, when a picture of the Triforce was indeed a SACRED family CREST...pfft.By blasting its one eye with your cannon while dodging the green blobs it fires at you. The blobs can be shot as well, if necessary.

ok the first hideaway is within the cave behind the village. you need to use the bomb flower to blow up a hole in the wall to get in. i think the chest has the shovel from memory. as for the true hideaway, this is found by using the shovel directly under a tree where the stone tablets lines cross on the map. in here you get the map to get through the ghost fog.

Well, i can think of numerous differences:- The spirit of courage was never imprisoned like the other two, its been with you the whole time as Ciela.- Its memory of being a fairy was lost while protecting the ocean king.- It is yellow in colour and its gem is green 
- It is courage and can control time.- It is more helpful on your quest than the other two e.g. hints, as a cursor, uses the hammer etc.Hehe lol below post. Evidence?

there's 3 you start with, Crayk is temple of courage so that's 3 bosses, plus prince of red lions, masked beetles, and the old wayfarer (if you catch all the fish).3 + 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 9 Hearts
