Zelda obviously isn't going anywhere yet but I feel like if they try to keep on pumping out new ones without making significant developements on the gameplay the series will get drawn thin in time

never ever in the next millenium will zelda diethat game mkaes you think logically its so fun having to work out everything on your own using only a few vague hints from people in the gameand its true when they come up with new storylines bosses and weapons like in the latest one where they had the fusing of two items

The Legend of Zelda is an iconic series for Nintendo. I don't really know why, but, when you no longer see Zelda games coming out, don't expect any Super Mario games.

i dont think it will ever die. the games have all been great and had great sales so far so why quit. thats like winning the superbowl 2 years in a row thn getting a new QB and RB just cuz u can. it will remain good unless they make like a future version like in present times down links lineage you know.

Is the cat in the box alive or dead?

If you open the box, you will know the answer.

You will know the truth.

However, until you open the box, you can claim that the cat is alive, and you can also claim it is dead.

Well it will have to eventually, unless you expect to see games like the Legend of Zelda A Link to the Phantom Mask.

I doubt it - one of Nintendo's largest series won't easily die just like that.

Not until Nintendo does most likely if mario was out of the picture link and zelda would be the face of nintendo. Personally I think link and zelda might be more recognizeable than Mario by now.

Id have to say that id wont die but the cartoon graphics that the current ds game is using can kinda get boring , maybe a series re-vamp with a darker edge?

I don't think it'll ever actually finish, but I wish they'd let poor Link actually get the girl once. He got tired of waiting for Zelda so he went after the Twilight Princess and then she went back to her world. That was so unfair.

I don't think it will, and I hope it won't. Every Zelda game comes up with new dungeons, enemies, items, etc. Plus, the Zelda games are highly addictive, heh

So long as Ganon finds new ways to have Zelda kidnapped, I doubt it will ever end. That's why I loved Majora's Mask. No Zelda. No Ganon.

zelda is dying slowly because the creators are finally running out of ideas and leave it as a classic instead of ramming it into the ground and having it forever remembered as a terrible game.

I don't think it will. I mean, even if people get sick of it... it'll still last. Look how many horrible Sonic the Hedghog games came out, and yet he's still enormously popular. No... I'm pretty sure Zelda will go on and on.

Nope. It's a classic. Even if the company goes out of business and they stop making the games. There will be more than enough clones trying to take its place.
