Yeah, Games Like Zelda Forever or these online Zelda Games and hacked roms...And if Nintendo would give a few people the Nintendo SDK (c++ library for creating nintendo games)Then there would be new Zelda roms again...There will be more than enough clones trying to take its place.

I doubt that the Legend of Zelda will ever die because it is like Mario. Both are made by Nintendo and have had lots of versions produced because everyone loves them and wants more of them so Nintendo make more. I am a lover of both series of games as they are great fun and are simply the best.

I really doubt it will happen any time soon. They're just too much fun to play. And I find myself going back to play the old ones over and over again. So, even if the series is discontinued, I don't think Zelda will ever die for me.

I don't think it will because it is too much of a classic to die off. It has a reputation to live up to and I think it'll always strive to live up to that reputation.

Legend of zelda is definately slowing down though, and thats not necessarily a bad thing. Its much better to remember Ocarina of time as the masterpiece it was then lament over generic, boring new titles

zelda made it to the top four on hero of the year, which was won by none other than gordon freemanthe legend of zelda will never DIE!!!!. Haha my favourite game on the nintendo console. I love all zelda console games. Not so much handheld tho. I think its awesome how far Link has grown and its cool how they add new things to the game each time.

I don't think it's gonna end at all.The games always seem to have brand new ideas,enemies,bosses and such.Plus,they just keep thinking up new items and equipment for each new game.

I doubt that The Legend of Zelda would ever end. It is too popular for one, and there are so many story opportunities to create. Unless the producer wants to retire, then nope, it won't.

Well, basically almost in each title Link has different "legends" as Hero of Time or Hero of Wind ... I think thats what they call him in WW, all we need now is a Hero of Light ... or does it already exist?

There is no way that games related to Zelda or Link could possibly be done away with. There are always various stories that they could be written with Link and Zelda.

The Legend of Zelda will die. In the same way that Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will eventually die: Replaced with a similar game concept under a new name. That's all there is to it.

Theirs no way zelda can die. its like james bond. Theirs a massive cult following for the zelda franchise unlike Final fantasy the zelda franchise has no need to reinvent the wheel. Even if someone makes a better one. But in reality you just cant beat zelda its to big. Their will never be a dungeon Action adventure game that will be more well known then zenda period. so no it will live on as long as the creator is alive imo.

Will Zelda ever die? Only in the video games. There are too many Zelda fans for the franchise to just up and die. And just look at Sonic. He lost his console, but he's still getting games (which suck) and even had a new cartoon series (which also sucked). So if Sonic's still up and kicking then, no, Zelda will never die.

As much as I love Legend of Zelda it'll eventually die. All games no matter how good will be replaced by new ones. Creativity can't go on forever. So in 50 years or so I think Zelda will be a thing of the past.
