Just wondering wasn't "Revolution" just the project name for the Wii? Like "Atlantis" was for the GBA?I prefer Wii btw

You have to think about why they picked the name 'Wii'.Revolution was to show what they were trying to do - Revolutionize gaming.Wii was used as in the process of this revolutionizing, they were trying to bring more people into gaming 'We' and the two i's were to represent two people. So I'm going with the name 'Wii' on this one.

I would like the name Revolution. but the with Xbox 360( Xbox Revolution) 360 = 1 REvolutiion, we may never see Nintendo make more systems again.

Wii, Revolution is just.. Plain boring IMO.

Well I liked "Revolution" more at first, but then I grew to love "Wii". Wii now just sounds more friendly and different from the other consoles.

i prefer wii as the two i's in wii look like wo player and wii is meant to mean we as together so the name is sort of like multiplayer gaming with is what the wii is about: playing with ur family/friends
