right now i'd say DSi also hv a psp but i jst find the DS games more entertainingmy GBA has also served me well, its still alive and its 7 years old now

GBA is the best right now, but DS is definitely catching up with the new stuff coming out (Etrian Odyssey was great, and the sequel seems awesome as well, need to grab that, and TWEWY looks very diverse and immersive as well)GBA's got the most addicting and most fun games a portable can offer right now, a lot of great rpgs, puzzle games, ports are ok i guess, and castlevania's looking better on ds, but cotm was amazing, as well as aria of sorrow.DS has better action and strategy games tho, FF12 rev wings is pretty good, lots of sim-like games, (AC:WW, MySims albiet mediocre, is still pretty decent, Nintendogs, but it didnt strike me as a lasting game), FFTA2 should be great, Lunar Knights, Rune Factory (need to get that game, never really done harvest moon before, and that one's looking awesome) AWDS and DOR are my first strategy games (save aw1 and 2) so that's points there, and the rpgs out so far are nice (Etrian Odyssey [HARD], TWEWY, M&LPiT was ok, FF3, and D/P)

The DS is the sole contender for me. I just find the PSP, while it has decent games, is hindered by it's terrible control layout. What was Sony thinking?

I'd say PSP, because of it's homebrew ability. I mean its basically a portable system of anything N64 and before.

My favorite has to be the DS. I do own a PSP but the one thing I don't like about it is its low battery life and that most games can lag if there is too much stuff on the screen at once.

As a note, I'm impressed this topic is going after over four years.. Kudos to OP, if s/he's still around.Anyway, I'll say GBA. I find the backwards compatibility to GBC and before to be essential, and the DS lacks. As well, software wise, the GBA had some of the best RPGs to date (Golden Sun, anyone?). The PSP is great if you use it as a media centre, but most people have their own MP3 players and don't care to watch movies on that small of a screen. As well, the controls are awkward. The DS doesn't yet match the GBA software-wise, if you ask me. Where's my Link's Awakening? Hm?

wheres links awakening?? ... have you played phantom hourglass, that game is a lot of fun ... i mean its not EXACTLY the same as minish cap and ages/seasons, but im glad its something new and fun for the series ... and as far as other fun software on the ds, i think it has a ton, you have to sort through the shovel-ware that u find at target, but there is some quality out for the system. DS for the win!

get a ithouch and jailbrake it and put all your emulators on it.. i have a gba emulater a ps1 emulator a snes emulator nes... i hope i get as n64 and nds emulator for it soon.
