Mario Double Dash is incredible because his graphics and cars are wonderfull, but I donīt like the idea of a second partner in the same car, this time I agree whit Mario Kart 64 because it was the first Mario Kart in 3D.

Never played Double Dash, so I'll go with the 64 version.But that's still not the classic, the classic is the Super Nintendo version.

I dont mean to offend anyone, I just would like to point out a couple of things. ( 
a couple... Like Double Dash.)Bad jokes aside lets look at some facts. The game with better graphics is hands down, Double D, but as we have seen with games like a few recent PS3 games, *cough* LAIR *cough* we learn that pretty graphics arent the best friend to a game. Of course the gameplay style of Double D is much better than 64, not just because of team combos, but the way the items can become combos. Plus, the ammount of diffrent karts are well balanced and the level design is a step up. Now, 64 was one of the best games ever, but not for the modern era of games. I do suggest, if you like something slightly more traditional, or if you have a DS, to get Mario Kart DS, witch is very good for just about any time you cant get your hands on a Gamecube, or you sold yours because you thought you could get a Wii. (You cant because therer always sold out... 
) And, since I think theres a ROM and a compadible emu for it, you might wanna just get it anyway.

64 version is good as it is a classic, though the variety of characters and being able to select your kart make double dash the better of the 2

i prefer the 64 version, but i think it's mostly cause i liked the physics in that game more than in double dash.

I cant really decide. MK64 is classic, but MKDD has another type of Power slide and makes the hole game easier to go for good times and such.
