I think it would take a lot to save the PS3. Right now it still is very expensive, and there are very few good games for it, if there are any at all. Action and adventure games like new Final Fantasy games would bring more interest to the PS3. However it wouldn't make it seem that much more appealing than the Xbox, in my opinion. PS3 needs more exclusive games, because right now, what you can get for the PS3, you can get for the Xbox, and its a heck of a lot cheaper! It's going to be tough for the PS3 to beat Xbox.

those games dont sound very promising. nothing like the dominance of the ps2. now that rockstar is releasing @ same time 4 xbox nd ps there isnt much point in getting a ps3

Metal Gear Solid 4 is gonna save the PS3 from total failure.Devil May Cry 4 and Ninja Gaiden Sigma might help too.

Killzone will definitely be a killer app that may save the PS3. They got over 120 developers working on it with over a 21 million dollar budget and have been working on it for a while so you know it will be good:)

Ultimately, what PS3 really needs is a library. Everybody talks about the killer app, but that app is really several games. It's not that the 360 inherently has better games. It's that the 360 has many many times the games to suit many many tastes and they range from the excellent to the irritatingly awful. PS3 just doesn't have much of anything, and so you just can't get people to say "I need a PS3 because I want such and such game." I personally enjoy RPGs and tactical action type of games, so FFXIII and Heavenly Sword hold a lot of interest for me. Conversely, things like Resistance definitely does not, as I grew sick of FPSes a long time ago and I'm still not able to enjoy them in the least. MGS4, I'm more or less indifferent about. Another person may completely be at odds with my preferences, but ultimately, that just means that we need more choices, and for the most part PS3 as a platform lacks that here and now.

there are many games that are going to save the ps3 the list is actually endless i have told all my friends that the ps3 ownage was coming then i showed them all the games and they all responded in oh my god here are only a few1.god of war 3 2.killzone3.haze4.devil may cry4 5.the wall6.heavenly swordand many others

Personally i don't believe the PS3 needs saving just yet, i mean in all honesty those of us who have one are probably of the few lucky ones.Once the price drops a little, and people will be able to buy it without losing one months pay, we should be seeing a lot more games coming out.But personally, i believe that one of the saving games will either be Haze, Socom and maybe even Ratchet and Clank (some of my all time favorite games).

Give the PS3 more time and it'll save itself. Once it has bigger selection of games it won't make a big difference. But I'm waiting for Devil may cry 4 and Gundam Musou.
