I think Ratchet And Clank Future: Tools of destruction definitely has the punch to make the PS3 worth owning. Personally, I see the PS3 getting better with age, and while getting one right now might not look so good, the titles coming out (FFXIII, GTA 4, KH3) will make this the system to own

MGS4 will likely be a good game probably fantastic. Its not good enough to make or break a system; most single games arent. People in general dont want it that much. Im more intrested in something thats already in the market. (killzone, MGS4 *may get a port*) so far Sony dosnt seem to have anything with as much of a fan base and demand like halo. Its kinda messed up to admit it but thats the only case where a single game has ever saved a console. Its just hard to overshadow. The series hasnt overwhelmingly excelled in any one aspect but unlike most games it has an amazing balance, and when you play and you know somethings going to happen, you get this sickening feeling of anticipation. Its on par with the older doom games. Sony would need something like that to really catch up. Honestly when it comes to cost over value the PS3 is doing poorly even with the games. I only say with the games because Square-Enix wont just suck it up and not waste money and Polyphony is trying to extort money from the Grand Turismo fans If theise smaller companies and even the big ones like EA can make games however decent or crappy they are, Square and Poly need to manage their funds better. Look at Naughty Dog, Ubi Soft Sammy/Sega, Capcom, Konami and other smaller companies can thrive durring moments like theise, maybe some companies need to evolve a bit and stop toying around when it comes to spending. That and square needs to broaden its horizons a new figtinh game a newer bushido blade maybe? maybe a new race game? They turned RPGs into the backbone of their company It dosnt work any more. They gotta change or just deal with the hardships.
Nah...As good as it will probably be...Theyre just two difftent stoy types, its like starship troopers (but not lame) VS Mad Max. Both sci-fi but two diffrent flavors.Ps3 needs a Halo killer maybe killzone 2?

How are they going to make a KH3? From what I saw in KH2 the story looks pretty tied up. Anyway, I think all of those games will contribute greatly.

From the sound of these games it sounds like the PS3 trying to gain some weight in Nintendo's market, this doesn't look like a good thing to me... Anyways MGS and DMC are some of the only games that PS3 has left to exclusivity and they'll probably do the job, if they ever come out!!!

There's lots of great games on the horizon, Eye Of Judgement looks great and totally different. Haze is nearly upon us and that looks great too. Ratchet and Clank is fun and one of the best games around at the moment too. I think the PS3 is finally coming into its own now and will continue to in the future.
