Doom 3 was nothing. F.E.A.R. was scarier than Doom 3. But in all honesty, the only game I can remember playing that truly scared the crap out of me was probably Fatal Frame. ...And this was quite a while ago, too. 5 years or so, if I can remember. It was just the demo, but I was stupid enough to try and play this in the dark, with the volume all the way up, and headphones on. The demo was enough to make me jump and keep looking over my shoulder.

bioshock, they did a really good job on making it creepy. you play that game at 3 in the morning at night all by yourself you'll see what i mean

REmake is probably the scariest game I've ever played, but it's really not all that scary, especially after you've played through it a couple times. I need to find some better horror games to play

Probably F.E.A.R... In the armacham buildings, there was a scene where the chick was watching you through the window...creepy... not to mention the grudgy walk she sometimes does...

SILENT HILL, all of them. There is no game more scary than silent hill.

Silent Hill 2.Mainly because it was the first Silent Hill game that I played.After having completed all of them I can say that Silent Hill 3 is indeed a scarier game.However after playing through 2 and getting accustomed to the type of scares the game gives out, the impact was lessened when playing through the other games, sadly.

well i havent actually played any scary games but i have heard that Fear is meant to be really scary. along with bioshock

silent hill any of them i liked the 3rd becouse u could have superpowers in the end but the most scary was 4... man those gosts in ur house can creep u out

Fatal Frame or Silent Hill. I played Silent Hill in the Arcade and its like totally freaky. But for the PS1, well, scarier cause of the hardware.

The scariest game i have ever played is the first resident evil for the playstation. Something about having zombies trying to eat you....and the fact that the game got really intense when you where shooting at a zombie backing up and the camera angle changes and you cant see anything.

Most games don't really scare, me, but I don't really play games that are meant to either. Although, when I was little, Metal Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 scared me to death! I wouldn't play that game for months after I ran into him.

any Silent Hill game is money. I think fourth is the scariest in my opinion. Mostly because you got chased around by those ghosts that you can't kill
