One good excuse that works sometimes if there is research involved in an essay is that My internet got disconnected so i could not research the stuff for my paper which is why i could not turn my paper on time, it should get fixed in a day or two, we are already working on it.

My favorite was "i didnt do it" always worked for me... mainly because i didnt do the detentions either lol! How did i pass school i will never know. http://www.dgemu.com...tyle_emoticons/default/locked.gif I think the best would be "computer virus!" its not like the teachers can prove it! if you have a parent whos stupid at computers well... could trick them easily into making a note!

Writing essays.. hmm.Just bring a different essay, and submit it. (even marked ones, yes) Then just pretend that you actually made a mistake by submitting the wrong one.

Just say your parents beat you, and you spent the night in the park scared to go home. No teacher can give you a zero on homework with that excuse.

prob the best excuse to use is to say that you got sick... by actually getting sick. this can be done by consuming all sortsa things—about 10-15 tylenols, old milk, or old chicken, etc.. haha i don't recommend this option unless youre really really desperate, like if it's for a big grade, maybe a project or essay, and if your teacher is a skeptic (they can't argue with an actual doctor's note or if you throw up in class or somethin). i've done it to get out of a major test before. no better excuse than the truth, right? (by the way, everyone has different bodies with different tolerances, so any one of my suggested options could possibly kill somebody, obviously.... proceed with caution if youre desperate enough) but for small hw assignments that barely affect your grade, i'd jus say i didn't do it or tryta rush thru it before class

you could say you have a doctors appointment on the day the essay is due... that would probably give you a few extra days to turn it in.

... I think it got burned during the fire yesterday... you see, last night, a neighbor's house got on fire, and I got in to save a child trapped in there. I just finished my assignment back then, and it was still on my hands when I got in...or say you'll bring it tomorrow with a matching smile or a cupcake or whatever

no excuses out of the ordinary. but the dumbest one i heard was when i was in the 4th grade. the teacher, as a homework, gave us a slip to sign whether or not the child was allowed to do something. (i forgot what it was. it was a good 10 years ago.) and when one person didn't get it signed, the teacher asked why and he said "my mom was in the shower". i could not stop laughing. apparently, in the 18 hours that the student needed a 2 second signiature filled out, the mother could not do it because she was in the shower. and no father was there to sign it. :)

My best excuse when not doing my homework was:When the teacher or professor asked for the assignment, I would put on a smiling face and then I would pretend like I am looking for it inside my backpack (or bag). Then I would gradually transform from a care-free guy, into a nervous wreck, saying something like, "Oh no, please tell me I didn't just forget it. I was certain I placed it inside my backpack (or bag) before leaving for school." Then I would try my hardest to seem all spaced out and then tell the teacher or professor that I somehow forgot it at home and if it would be alright to turn it in later.I actually tried this a few times and it worked every time. ^^

This never fail, the greatest excuse I've ever made! The book is not available in the library, someone burrowed it before me. That's why I was unable to make my homework!
